Ballast hook-up

Hello I have a hydro-farm daystar AC hood that i was trying to plug into this ballast but I couldn't figure out how to do it.

Sounds like you have a different style plug from your hood to the ballast. You either need to find an adapter from your hood to the ballast or open up the ballast and install the correct outlet for your plug. But I'm not excatly sure what you are having problems with. Do you have the part handle to plug the ballast into an outlet for power? Is your problem just with plugging in the hood? Does the cord just not going into the socket on the ballast??
