Ballls on white widow flower... balls, seed or female hair bud

Hi people!

yesterday I spotted a ball- looking bulb on top of the biggest flowers on one of my white widows. It looks like a ball, but there are white hair coming out of them!?! Whatt the hell can it be? They just started week 5 in flower, I got rid of the males 2 weeks into the flowering cycle.

Could it be that it has been pollinated and these balls are seeds? Or is it perhaps a hermaprodite? Or (hopefully) is it just a part of the female flower getting ready to burst their top trichromes?

Help would be greatly appretiated!

yea sorry about that - thats the beat my 1999 dgital camera can do ;( I'll try taking a few more, but from what I say, got any well qualified guesses?

If its a herm - is it possible that white hair come out of the ball containing pollen?

damn dood pic 3 looks like the plants are strecthing to the light move the light closer for more compact buds! otherwise good job

haha... the ww are about 110cm and the big bud afghani's are all around 140-150cm but they've all stopped growing. I think the lighting is ideal for the ww's and the bbafghani's are put to the side so it's acceptable.... next time I will only grow a single strain for sure:)

Its a hermie... almost postive, unless it breaks open to be new growth.

I would very very carefully snip it, without breaking open the calyx

if it opened and hairs are coming out, i think it may just be new growth emerging from a calyx, sensimilla bud, bud with no seed- where there would be seed, inside the calyx it just fills with thc and resin, which makes it more potent than seeded bud, but there are still pockets where it would look like seed.

So it could just be new growth and what not, i would be patient- if there are hairs and stuff, i am not sure it is a seed anymore.

Yea, after some hours of pondering i think you are right. i picked off two to see inside, and it looked like hairs were forming in there... So then I'm happy - great help from you - thx a lot :) It was just so weird, as none of the others had such big calyxes yet, but this is the one that has flowered the most, so I'm now looking forwards to massive sensimilla buds at the end of july:)

And i was about to kill it dude :O I'm strangely disappointed as well as it would fit quite well to have a hermie toke right now.
