Not sure what is most disturbing.....
1) The police brutality that takes place in this country. Seems like someone is getting beat down by the police every day here. or...
2) The public masses rioting in the streets of Baltimore...USA, and the cops are letting them do it.

The night is just about here, I expect chaos tonight, maybe not just in Baltimore?
Your thoughts?
TMB-
Same happened in London a few years back. Same thoughts tthen... The police need to be harsh on this. The police in the UK were powerless. But cctv put a lot of people behind bars afterwards

Let it burn. :fire:

Fuck the police always fucking with people the fire department don't drive around looking for a fire they shouldn't be out looking for crime.
Disagree here. They need to be out and show presence. The difference is... I'm talking about REAL crime.

The people are rioting because the police are harsh on black people.

They don't need to be out shaking people down when a real crime happens they get a call, drugs are not real crime!!

I understand the issues with the police, but the rioters need to leave the fire department the fuck alone. I saw a news report where they were throwing cinder blocks at a firetruck and some firemen trying to put out a fire. I don't agree with the indiscriminate violence on businesses and the public, isn't that the issue we have with the police? It should be focused and well orchestrated., and aimed at the parties responsible.

Ok... It's not the same then. Didn't know too much about the situation. I should stay out of political conversations ;-)

nope, like I said
"It should be focused and well orchestrated., and aimed at the parties responsible."

I, personally, have yet to reach the point of frustration to violently protest, but if I ever did...let's just say, I could do better than burn a CVS down....

That's crazy. You would be pissed if a rioter threw a burning brick through your grow room window right??

Insurance might cover material loss, but not the months of closed business for repair. Rioting punishes society, not the police or government.

I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of riots and what drives people to irrational behavior.

Burning brick?
I don't have any windows and I live in the suburbs.

The complete lack of understanding here why people are rioting is staggering.

Ain't no rioter coming around here and yeah people have burned their own businesses for insurance money so I think they will be just fine.

As a canadian without a vested interest one way or the other i find the idea of rioting to prove your point self defeating.
The police have been abusing their powers for sure i agree 100% and the ones responsible should be brought to a form of justice that teaches the rest a lesson, and instil confidence in the community police.
However burning up your own neighbourhood and looting your neighbours stores does nothin but bring in more cops and task forces.
Somehow i dont think those people will be enjoying all their free toilet paper and shit when theres a 10 pm curfew on their communities.
If they really wanted to make a stand why didnt they burn the police station down or something?
