Bamm's Walk-In Closet Grow

Well I recently moved and am considerably downsizing from a full bedroom to a walkin closet. 6'x8'x8' ...

So I have clones of the following strains:
Grandaddy Purple, Purple Kush, Purple Goo, Sour Deisel, Mazar, The Chronic, Power Plant, and Trainwreck

I'm doing a SCROG under a single 1000wHPS I'll be running off a 6" vented reflector with a powerhouse switchable ballast. 6" Ecotech Exhaust fan, Full co2 setup, 2--2'x4' trays, 1gallon bags, using all Advanced Nutrients products, in Happy Frog soil.. I just picked up the clones this afternoon and am currently keeping them under my craftsman shop light for a few days before putting them under the 1000w... Here's a few pics, I gotta pull the 1000watt outta storage this week=)...

This will be my third run with advanced nutrients but my first run with co2...Last time I only vegged for 7days Im planning on doing about 20-25days veg this time we'll see though=)

Looks good man, looks like a nice setup. I'm sure all of those plants will love that 1000wat hps for sure. Also looks like your going to be growing some nice strains there, I'll be tuned into this one for sure

Ok So I was finally able to get my equipment out of storage.. SO I'm running a single Hydrofarm 1000w switchable Powerhouse Ballast, 6" air cooled reflector, Hortulix HPS 1000w bulb, 6"ecotech fan and one of thoseCharcoal Fiber Scrubber 6" Fan we'll see how this works out I have a feeling Im going to need a real carbon filter...I'll be setting up the co2 this week and the plants go in 1gallon bags tommorow..Im just working on getting my temps in check int he closet now..with the window shut int he bedroom it was 82 in the closet witht he closet door shut..door shut and window open...76=)..Here's some fresh pics..taken about 5minutes ago..

I lined the floor with tarp and then I lined the walls around the tray with Panda Film

The clones are fully rooted and ready to start vegging=)

The reflector will be lower signifigantly in the next week and depending on how many 1gallon bags I can fit in each of the 2x4 tray I might be adding more plants..38presently..More than likely I'll be taking the ballast out of the closet also I just put it in there real quick to clean my room

Thanks I feel like I had everything too complicated last time with a full room setup and 2 exhaust fans four 1000w hps setups.. I think this will be easier to manage..

Very nice set up. But you really should have covered the floor with one of those heavy duty blue tarps to protect the rug. You will have spills.

I did actually I just didn't cover the first twofeet of the walkin=).. good idea though I had folded it up and made it into like a liner so if anything spilled it will fall right in there and not leak on the carpet=) I'm comtemplating pulling it back some now that you mention it though..

Just pulled the ballast and put it outside the closet I hooked up my temp controller and ryostat thingie=) to my exhaust fan temp staying between 73-74 now=) so we'll see how all goes tommorow=)Im going to start filling the 1g bags with Happy Frog=) and get some nutes mixing=)Im going to remount everything after I get the co2 and everything setup in there to make it look cleaner I hate messy looking things(crazy if you saw my apartment right now it looks like a war zone with all the extra equipemtn I have up here..)


Oh Yeah I I just went in the room to find my white cat chompin on a Trainwreck clone and a Sour Diesel one.. Argh..luckily she only got a few leaves..almost topped it for me=)

quick update all the plants are int he 1gallon bags and rocking my cat got int here and ate the heck out of a Power Plant about down to the stem.. We'll see how that one works out..pics soon

Lol, never seen a carbon filter that looks so much like a K&N car filter. Gives me an idea........

it looks like a cold air induction/short ram filter

but its different tho.


they also make hepa intake filters as well!!!

man your set up is so close to mine...I love the little scrubber on the end of the light...im getting one tomorrow...you watch...

Hey all thanks for the compliments... I found a link for the filter ont he website here and it was only like $60 I think so far so good with it.. But the plants arent even stinky yet=)... The first time I saw one of these filter last year all I could think of was ripping the K&N off my truck and trying it out=)...LOL..it looks just like one=)..

edux10-Yeah this is my third indoor grow now I've learned alot fromt he last two=) and now Im justtrying to do the best I can=)....my electricity bills at my last place were $800/month with 4x1000w lights running(and tons of other equip) that was rediuclous. I haven't even had a crop in the ground in a over a month now=) LOL just been doing a little research to make things better( I think I got it close to right this time=)

Hey Bamm Bamm, will be watching this thread closely as I intend to try a SOG next time round, I just have 5 hindu kush in at the moment in a grow area of 4ft x 4ft and 6 ft high.Also have a bit of room, about 4 ft in front of the grow area for repotting and stuff.

it sounds like your room is the same size as mine... ok gotta go get my co2 bottle filled

I am off to relocate the filter or maybe just straighten the ducting out. I really want to leave the filter where it is as it's higher up the room than it would be if I put it inline with the fan.
I am also going to pot my babies up into their last pot.
