Banannas in week 7

Og Kush started throwing nanners. I wanted to give her more time to finish.

If i chop now, is the potency loss going to be bad? How long can i give her without risking seeding her or my other plant?

I tried really hard to get the micrcoscope to focus on it. I tried for an hour and that was the clearest shot i could get

Yeah. But if i chop to prevent seeds you think she will still make good smoke? Its 52 days into flower. She's not done but shes close. I am on the fence on whether i should let her finish and risk beans or chop today.
 
I've just run into a similar situation with a one and only Blue Dream. Today was Day 68 of flowering. Much of the main stem was ready for harvest so I took some buds from it. I'm letting the rest grow for a little while. Yes, I'll have some seeds. No worry for me. The weed here sucks. I'd rather have some decent weed with seeds than the crap they have available. :) If you don't want it to seed the larger plant...it's bye bye. :)

All depends on the stage of bud. The trics look cloudy? Pistils looking ripe? Imho you’ve come this far, might as well take it the rest of the way to get what you put the work in for.
Seeds can be picked out

damn just saw you have another plant. I only grow singles, but if it’s a fem seed and turns hermie can it still pose a risk to other plants?
 
Many strains have those cum up late in flower. calm down about it. Never had them cause seeds and Ive seen several. We are talking late flower with 3 weeks to go or so. Just pluck them off. I wouldn;'t cut them down. Now if this was just starting to flower and you have different issues. I'd put 10 bucks on nothing happens but good solid but in late flower. IF this is a great strain and you like it and have seeds for next grow I;d still grow them but I;d not buy that one again. It;s usually a genetic thing that some really good strains have. pluck them off with fingers and move on
