Barney's acupulco gold from Seedsman

Popped one seed in water last week. In water for 24 hours then paper towel. Nothing. Did the same with the other 4 and nothing. I have grown just about every thing and never had a seed not germinate. Never had a problem with Seedsman. Never used Barney's or new acupulco gold. Has anyone else ran into this problem. I'm too poor to reorder and have this happen again

Just grew this out... shit was fire... hope you get it right...I got 2 more I was saving... you got me wondering... would hate to bust the stash a year from now to have what you explained happened... definite bummer

Sorry to hear that, but it does happen sometimes. But I did grow (4) BF(S) AG and I felt like it wasn't even 70% sativa but it was half-way decent smoke. Anyhow... if ever get the real AG you will know it because from her first fan leaf, she will grow these very thin long ass fan leaves. And most will be over 10 inches long!

one member suggested Black Gold seed for germinating n they r right ,, takes a couple few days,, but b patient it does work,, just put the seeds in the soil about less then 1/4 inch,, in the soil n just use a spray bottle of water n just keep the soil moist,, here's a pic,,, the Girl scout cookies r coming up n so is the Blue Grape Dream n I just threw some Scallion seeds ( which I had problems with ) n they r even starting to some up,,, I think the Black Gold soil is excellent

I'll give it another try but I'm on a fixed income and this is killing me. I just think about the old AG and hope if I can get things going it will be close

The thing is that Barneys Farm Acapulco Gold is not the real thing. It says right on their website 70% sativa. It's a hybrid. They likely bred Acapulco with an indica to shorten the flower time. I've grown it. It's not bad smoke but it's not the real deal. If they had regular seeds you might find something closer to the original but all they have is fem seeds.

I agree.. it didn’t look like what I’d seen before....I’ve got some seeds my brother brought me back from Mexico.supposedly the real AG.. time will tell.. .. he also brought some of the real Acapulco Gold back... totally different..my AG Just popped... call it seedling stage3792B1E3-3B83-4459-A7AA-DA39CE42A71D.jpeg

This Barney Farms Acapulco Gold is some very good smoke.. I will be running it..very easy to grow.. this is my second run and it was even better this time...in the face & body, cotton mouth, deep thought with additional bright eyed.. motivational, upbeat and uplifting
