My buddies grew some Blue Crimea and they kicked me some and it tasted amazing and had a smooth lifting high. But they said it didn't yield very much and/or the trim sucked too much to keep growing.

Hermies dude. Do a google search & u'll quickly learn what I'm talking about.
There is a dude named BlackRoses who posts in my journal, he had 5 Blue Cheese Seeds from Barney's 4 went Hermie.

Check out my sig... Crimea Blue is my favorite strain so far. It has a great taste.... sweet, fruity, skunky, rich smoke. The high kicks your ass also. It's very easy to grow. I used lst but, it seems like it likes to just go untrained if possible. Not a huge yielder, but 'average.
I don't have much growing experience but this is one of the few strains i've grown and tried and it's very heady. I don't know why people say Barney's sucks.. but as a novice grower.. I stressed them and they still put out amazing potency and flavor. genetics seemed great to me. here's the last i clipped. I have one more i'll post pics in my grow journal. I lollipopped, topped and lstd. The plant looks like a set of legs spread open...:hump:

not so much skills as observation .... Crimea Blue isn't resistant to mildew or pests... it's also not a highly resinous strain so if your planning on using leaves for hash it... this isn't the one. Also it's finicky with nutes ..... one minute it will seem like you're overfeeding, the next it looks deficient. The one thing i can say is that it takes well to stress ...and is very Ph tolerant. I've never seen any micro-nute problems on any of my plants.
having said that ...
like i stated before ...the high and flavors are amazing!!!
