ok so I havnt started yet light etc shud b here tommorow but I planted seed straight into soil five days ago an still no sign of growth any tips

You should have germinated it to see if it will grow at all .. there's a 50/50 percent chance that its alive/dead and the only way to make sure is to germinate and then plant the correct way (the white sprout is actually a root so it should be plated root DOWN) type "germination" in the search and watch a gazillion threads and pics and videos and whatever there is ..
