Barney's Farm (G13 Haze & SweetTooth)

I thought I would post my experience with both the G13 Haze and SweetTooth seeds from Barney's Farm.

I ordered 10 of each feminized... I have only a 50% germ rate with the G13 Haze, the seeds are very small and not all that healthy. About 25% will take off immediately and 25% will take off slowly. 50% cracked and showed taproot but they just decided not to grow any more...

SweetTooth on the other hand is amazing... 100% germ rate and they all took off. The seeds are fat round and great color...

I'm hoping the G13 Haze will respond much better to cloning than from seed. I've heard this is the case with quite a few strains...

Will do. I'm actually using a BloomBox as well so I'm going to post a full review of that I know, I know... it's over priced... but the quality of the construction and the time it saves really made it worth it for me personally. I'm only growing for personal use so I don't need a lot of space. I also don't have access to the machinery needed to cut the aluminum and glass as well as get it powder coated, etc... I'm rather impressed with the system so far actually. Runs pretty cool and it's soooo simple to use. I bought the Royale so I also got a dryer (nice bonus), nutes, ppm and ph meters, extra bulbs, pump, and a whole bunch of other extras... Saves a lot of Ebay shopping, waiting, then going "oh shit, I also need this"... then having to wait some more for it to ship...

Anyway, I'll give everyone a full review...

i did the ebay thing, and it took me forever. right now im just waiting on some ph down and hopefully that will be it without anymore epiphanies. i have 2 600 watts on a light mover. i have 2 bushy mother plants and 2 small 8 inch clones all white berry of paradise seeds. i wanted to know about the g13 because its supposed to be super vigorous in growth and potency. so im hoping that your barney's farm is good. BTW, how do people know that theyre the same seeds as another seed company's? where does this insider's info come from? i guess im just not hip enough for the weed breeder's scene.

Well they aren't necessarily the same seeds. Two breeders may offer the same strain or cross but they usually have been selectively bred differently. For example, another breeder may offer G13 Haze but through selective breeding they may exhibit different traits... I went with Barney's Farm as they've been winning cups for a while and the G13 Haze won first place last year at the Cannabis Cup

barneys G13 is more on sativa side and the other one is more inidica,, the one I have is more indica(dope-seeds). And they do have vigorous growth. I germed mine for 24hrs and tap root was a centimeter long already, they really have the hybrid vigor, as soon as you see preflowers,anything that touches the actual bud gets infected with crystal coverage. I do admit that in my package of seeds, a couple seeds didn't germ or germed but thats it. total of 4 and mine were non fems.

I kinda have deja vu about this, I don't know about you kitty,LOL. Hope everything is goin ok for you. you didn't answer me back so i thought you died.

Here's a quick update on the seedlings

The G13 Haze seems to have a MUCH thinner main stem than the SweetTooth but they produce leaves and nodes much faster. The SweetTooth tends to grow the leaves larger and takes a bit longer to produce its additional nodes and leaves...

Just what I've found so far I'll eventually start taking pics and posting them

i have some barneys farm blue cheese and they all germinated and done nothing else? fuck sake
