Thats ridiculous people call the president all the time. Does everyone who calls him about an issue get raided? Besides he is AGAINST raids on marijuana patients and he wants federal resources diverted elsewhere so why would he raid my house for calling him.

Are you forgetting Obama is our president now?

You can call your representatives and you should they listen to that type of thing---but your better off sending an email to their office---with what you want in the title line---an intern will read them and tally the responses in a excel document.

Spare me. You're calling the personal number of the president. You're not calling your congressman, mayor or city clerk. He's the highest position in the land, and you cannot call him talking about "Dude what's up with you raiding paraplegics?!!" I work in defense, and you can barely talk to a high ranking officer without clearance, what makes you think you can ring up Obama free and clear? Oh and the Freedom of information act is not just for government sweep jobs. The civilian populous is entitled to that information
if deemed necessary.

Who calls the president all the time? No one. They call the white house and are directed to who? His secretary who takes a message. You cannot just "Talk" to the president. Be forreal bro. He's against it...that doesn't say jack shit about the people who have to vote on it. He can talk all he wants but until he get's congressional approval it's all bull KAKA. He wouldn't raid your house...But you calling the president out of the blue will raise a few eyebrows. Don't think you live in a civilized world because you don't.

your not going to talk to the president---they have someone in charge of public relations if you will---you tell this person---they tally what the people are calling about---then the president is told---then the press secretary formulates a way to address the media about it---then the media starts to dig up public sentiment from that---making a news story out of it.

Our politics lives off these kinds of things---not regular polls---those people don't vote in high rates---but the people who take the time to write or call the office holders vote and they want shit done and politicians do what these people want---remember terry shivo for example.
