Basement floor - too cold?

I'm concerned about the health of my future girls roots. My 3x3 tent sits directly on concrete, and pots sit on saucers. Is this enough to insulate them from the temperature of the concrete? The room usually sits at 58-68 so the concrete gets quite cool. Would you guys recommend setting the pots on something or should it not be an issue? The pots are black so they will absorb heat nicely from the light....

I've read 60-72F is optimal. Lower temps increase oxygen availability. Below 60F and mineral availability starts to drop off.

In nature ground temps are usually around 15F lower than air temps. So that is what cannabis has developed to expect.

Warm roots are definitely not desirable. You're more likely to end up with rot.

Hmm I suppose that makes sense. I just hope the actually floor itself isn't too cold but I imagine between the black saucer and pot it should avoid enough thermal energy to stay warm enough.

Put a Yoga mat folded under the tent to act as a insulator, or get a sheet of rigid insulation board with the reflective finish. peace

I have the same set up and have no problem. The saucers I use are pretty thick.
