basic 5 plants

can anyone tell me a good way to grow 5 plants or less in a bedroom discreetly like the easiest setup and a walk thru of the required materials to get an average yield? i am overwhelmed with all the different things, just what is a basic setup in a cabinet?

i would grow in 1 gal pots under a 1000 watt hps. we need more details like ur budget, how much weed u want, how much attentin ur gonna give ur plants etc.

i dont even have seeds yet and i am not even a big time smoker anymore but i want to try to grow some weed and a few ounces would be cool, and i dont wnat to spend over like $400

Sorry, it's going to take me 2 month's before I can use this box I built 6'2"h x4'L x 3'w under a 400hps I'm only looking for a QP. I too only have a bedroom to work with, and I still need to sleep.

because it sounds in your price range. just I'd hate for you to build what I did and have it problematic. but I'm a lucky s.o.b. and will probably squeak by.

get a 250watt HPS if price is an issue, that's what I'm using and my plants love it. don't let anyone talk you into CFLs though lol. You can use any small box to grow but if you want 4+ plants I suggest using a closet. Get some mylar/ventilation/pots/soil/nutes and you are good too go! my first low budgest setup cost me about $300

how bright is a 250w hps??

thats the exact same light I have, it was $99 + shipping when i baught it. btw it looks nothing like the picture, It's a HortiLux 250watt HPS with attached ballast and bulb included. Works great and doesn't put off too much heat. I highly reccomend this light for your first grow.
