hey how's it growing?
I have a question about bat guanno, I useually use 24-8-16 for my veg, and I now have a bunch of bat shit my buddy give me and he said that's all he uses during veg. He said to use 2 tsp per gallon, I was just wondering if any of you seasoned vets could tell me if that's all I need for veggin' or should I add something? I don't know the ratio of bat shit, would anyone happen to know the the n/p/k of bat shit? or know how I could find out?
Rep up for any serious answers
thanks :joint::joint::joint::peace:

The guano I use is 8·4·1 and the rule of thumb is to add 1-2 tea spoons per 8 inch diameter container.

This grow I am going to change from straight pro mix... I am going to add canna coco to the promix to help with settling and also going to a bat guano and earth worm castings.... like all nutes, organic or otherwise, moderation is always good...

sorry to be so off topic, but is anyone else having serious issues with the site right now? I can't delete messages, and it says that somebody is sending me a PM like everytime I change pages.

Yep! The new post page isn't updating for one thing. I'd start a thread on the problem but no one would see it lol.

Hardroc, sorry to hijack your thread but yours is the last new thread I can see.
Here's my quano experience. Large outdoor grow this year. Switched from Botanicare Pro Gro to bat guano, somethting like 7-4-6, half way through. Mixed 1+ cup with 5 gal water. Used 1 gal for each plant once a week. Added phos bat (0-7-0) at 1+ cup to 5 gal when serious flowering began. Used 1 gal each per plant once a week for the duration. Got good results.

Bat shit is like 10-0-0 its all nitrogen. And its great for your vegging plants.
I use pro mix with worm castings, blood meal, bone meal, and guano. Thats all it needs just add strait water for the first month till it uses the nutes then you can start with a flowering nute with very little nitrogen. I usually just spread the guano around the base of the plant and water it in with water and superthrive.
