Bathroom extractor fan?

I was thinking about getting a 100mm bathroom extractor fan to use as my exhaust for my grow cabinet. But i have a few questions and it would be great if someone could help me out! First can you even wire one of these fans easy to a standard plug? Do you think they too load for a sleath grow? Was thinking of getting one like this: 100 mm extractor fan fitted lead & plug (hydroponics) on eBay, also Hydroponics, Plants Seeds Bulbs, Garden Plants, Home Garden (end time 11-Jul-08 20:00:00 BST) Any opinions would be great thanks.

yes they are easy to wire, just 2 wires and open plug 3 places to put put in 2 none in earth one..

if your attachin it to grow box put a layer of rubber between fan and wood/box so it wont rattle..

u might hear a little humm in the next room from them fans..

Thanks for replying, do you or anyone else happen to know how much louder they are compared to 60mm pc fans? Cos that's what i have at the moment, are they are lot noiser than them? For example does anyone know how many 60mm pc fans it would take to get the same noise level as one of these bathroom extractor fans? Thanks. Don't really wanna pay £££ for a proper hydro exhaust fan unless i really have too!

you can get a 6" inline fan at home depot for $32, moves 240cfm, a little on the noisy side, put inside a card board box with some padding and ure good.

Dude do not buy that one off ebay in your link. Looks more like a scam to me with no real pic and a seller with 0 points, didnt think you could even sell untill you had at least 10 points but maybe Im wrong. htgsupply.com sells a 6'' inline fan 250cfm for $40, i have three and all work fine. Heres a pic

I put all my vent fans in my attic and have 6" ducts that come into my closet. You cant hear them this way. If ducting is not feasible check out a panasonic whisper quiet bathroom exhaust fan, home depot sells them and so do most electrical supply houses. They cost more than standard fans but are much quieter, you can still hear them a little but still pretty quiet. Heres a pic of the panasonic fan installed

That is the same fan HD has for 32, I'm pretty sure they will ship it wherever, plus less sketch.
