BB x NL all cfl grow, harvest with pics

Hey peeps, i finished my first grow the other night, it was quite successfull i think but i had to chop a couple of days early due to mould :(. I vegged for 5 weeks flowered for 9, it was in bcuzz soil with bcuzz nutes, i used a 150watt blue spec cfl for veg and a 250watt red spec for flowering, final weight was 142g ~(5 ounces) wet, not bad off one plant and my first time :D. Here are some pics, ive got it hanging to dry at the mo and gonna move it to glass jars as soon as its ready, let me know what u think, remember it was my first time so dont be too harsh lol :bigjoint:

# 1 noob mistake is harvesting too early. Picking the fruit when trichs are clear to cloudy. I spend a lot of effort on my grow and I be damn if I going to harvest to early only to smoke a fatty and 1/2 an hour later wanting to get stoned again. Let that baby ripen and let those trichs turn amber or what I like to say is the color of Pesi or Coka-cola. Shit will lock you in, Thats why I grow, not to grow pussy weed, but the
knock your ass out weed. If ya can't handle the high then take 2 tokes and be on your way. Your grow looks good Bro.

hey could you let me know how the smell was on the Nl x big bud, heard its a very low smelling strain but with big bud genetics it might of stank let me know ? congrats

cheers for all your positive comments people :D, this bud gets you blasted, its proper strong, and yeh it does stink, alot lol. Dry weight was 29.8 grams so i lost alot but man, this bud is strong, i thoroughly recommend BB x NL as a first grow strain, its really hardy and produces some huge sticky buds :D, peace out :peace:

nice job doc! ive had 2 cycles w this srain. both sufford from root rot n still had some nice colas a very tough girl she is is. n yes smelly, sticky n strong. this cyc is going pppppppppperfect i will post .............stay down

very nice grow, im starting to think i should have went all cfl cause my hps is giving me some big temperature problems. This strain was always appealing to me when i was trying to choose a strain to start with, instead i ordered a plethera of seeds and was forced to start the only ones i had because of my lease ending soon, but i have some big bud seeds and some very nice fem seeds so maybe ill try and do a similar mix farther down the road, congrats on the nice buds

thanks alot everyone for your positive comments, i know what u mean thelynx about the temperature thing, my friend was doing a grow at the same time as me, same sort of set up but he used a 400 watt hps, he had major probs with temp and even burnt one of his plants, i went with cfl's not only coz low temp but energy costs aswell, some people say about the fluffy bud thing but i think its turned out ok, it buffs up in a grinder nicely and gets you so so stoned lol, im happy :D

cfl's dont put off the same amount of lumens as a HID lamp. thats why alot of cfl grows are fluffy. i imagine if you use enough cfl's you would get dense nugs.

dude, that shit looks GREAT for a first time grow PERIOD. that you did it with a 250W is top notch. you should do a journal for your next grow.
