BBB turkey baster?

Right so I have heard from a few places now that easiest extractor is a stainless steel turkey baster from bed bath n beyond, and some unbleached coffee filters...

Anyone actually DONE this? I having issues w/ the tip being shaped/sized just wrong enough to no allow butane to enter the damn thing.... (tip diameter is too wide for butane tip, too narrow for any of the adapters, and angled to prevent a decent seal...)

Yes, and they work slick. Screw the needle on to the tip, and then grab the needle with pliers and twist and pull an the same time, to remove the press fit needle.

With it gone, you have the perfect size injection hole in the needle retaining nut.

Ive dropped my glass tube before...actually rolled off onto the tile floor. THey are thick glass. worth the 30$
 
8g in the tube? I get 13-14 into my full size baster and 6 or so into my chopped down version regularly. I cant really be packing that much tighter than I should can i?
 
Put one of the adapters from the butane can in the end of it should fit snug enough to make a seal. 1423587145440-989859979.jpg

roomie homebrews, if i used a beer thief like that hed shit a kitten.... n i dont need no kittens...

the removing the needle stem seems to have worked, Ill know for sure in a day or two, just got my butane in...
 
I use on regularly for smaller runs and I pack about 20-25 grams each time. If I really stuff it I can get about an oz in one.
 
@Fadedawg Do you remember the results of this unit you guys built? Was it hard to create? Looks like something that a DIYer can fashion? Minus the dildo in the middle.. I'm ok with not having that in my build... lol
