Well I just got busted, my family was put threw a living hell. 11 cop cars showed up, had a warrent. Raided the whole house, took all of the pot in the house, and went to the backyard, destroyed the greenhouse along with the plant. My mom, dad, and I are now suppose to be getting charged with possesion and cultivation of an illegal substance. Let everyone take this as a warning, do not tell anyone your growing, YOU CAN NOT TRUST ANOYONE.

Guess I wont be growing the herb till im older and can move out of this stupid fucking place where you get hunted down like a crackhead for using marijuana.

feds came once and took a plant and my clones but did not press any charges?

Just get legit, find someone who has a med card and u can be a legal grower for them thats what i do(15 plants) havnt had any trouble yet.... Plus the only people who know i grow are growers also thats the best way to go when fucking with anybody u knw what im sayin

anyways good luck on your next op be more smart tho and always think someone wants what u got!!!!!!!!!

to be legal to grow it for others and now use it yourself is a caregiver right?

now that im waay older im starting to find it more interesting just growing it and conversating more than spending money on consuming it.

I think that sucks that you got your parents involved with that (unless they knew you were growing it and they were okay with it). I used to tell some select peeps about my grows but some of them rave about it to others and that always pissed me off. One girl decided she was going to threaten me and call the cops on me. That beotch. Every so often she calls and we talk...but I never mention my babies or if she asks I tell her I'm too busy to grow shit

The urge to tell others lingers but its important to look at it in the long run. I rather brag to others after the whole growing is done. From vegging to curing.

where are you from? and were u a medical patient. I always trip out on this even tho run under a collective with 3 people and only grow 20 plants, I never want to get raided

how was he breaking the law? i dont get it. if its just for personal use why do they arrest him? if he sells it, and they knew he was selling it, i can see the problem.

whoa first off, yes, fuck the system. no matter if the crop is for personal use or for monetary gain one should not be punished for it. its a fucking plant!!! and secondly if you know what you are doing is illegal...(only because a bunch of uptight government pricks say it is)..., dont tell anyone! simple as that, if you cant keep your mouth shut about your crop then you probably shouldnt take on the risk of growing.

i got busted before not for growing but for possession wit intent for sales...got my card the day after i got caught and it helped out..ended up beating my case..soooo go get ur cannabis card ASAP

The guy is from Canada (province of Saskatchewan), where all this medical cannabis card business is not so well known or even available. He also seemed pretty young (kinda chronically worried about everything: rain, wind, frost, nosy neighbours) and didn't think it out that well (he had it in his garden in his folk's yard). The overall culture towards cannabis here is not moving toward enlightenment at any great rate, and in some cases (like hick prairie provinces) its probably still in the 1950s (hence the over-reaction of the police with their 11 cruisers to bust one kid and his parents for growing a couple of plants). And what, excactly, does anybody need "more information" for? Are you gonna go bail him out? Anyway, I'm sure he's got his mind on other things right now.

Plenty of people are "chill" with it, but when pressed, those same people are a long way from saying it should be legal (for reasons they can't quite put their finger on). California is quite unique, but the world is not one big California. The way it usually goes in Canada is that people see Californians moving ahead with some progressive policy or another and kind of tsk-tsk it all or laugh at it, and try and distance themselves from these zany uber-liberal approaches, but also watch them out of the corner of their eye to, you know, see how the latest Grand Experiment is going, and if it's going well, then maybe they'll try it after all.

growing/ smoking is pretty chills in ontario, canada, definetly not as bad as the states but they can fuck you just as quick

Anyway, mushroom head, if you're still checking in here, know this: all things must pass, even shit-storms like this. And it may feel like pretty small consolation right now, but you did grow a very nice plant and learned a lot about doing it along the way. Those things will remain with you long after the bullshit has blown over.
