The company claims to have had the clones shipped to British Columbia. How did they get the strain in the first place? It says straight from cali, yet does not say the breeder they got it from... This strain originated and was made poplar by berner in san fran.
The fact that they do not list a breeder... They do not list a place in california... I call bullshit... do not waste your money...

I have ordered from sowamazing in Canada numerous times.. Haven't ordered from hemp depot but they got great prices and everyone I know on here that uses them never has any problems.. I sent cash to BCBD 2-3 years ago for a pack of the black and never received them. BCBD sucks! I have smoked the black and the purps, that's the only stuff on the menu worth growing, other than that, half their line of genetics seem to be fake(blueberry, sweet tooth, mango).. Honestly wouldn't grow any of their SHIT because of their terrible business and customer service.. I know 10 year olds who can do a better job than those ass clowns up there.

my first grow was with the god bud and the mendo purps, i ordered directly from their site and they delivered, this was 4 years ago.The bud was amazing. The mendo purps ibl is still one of the top 3 best smelling and looking buds i have ever seen.
2nd time I ordered after i moved to colorado last year, spent 350$ to get the purps, god, and mk ultra.
Took my money, AND NEVER DELIVERED A THING. I CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES, they said they would send me replacement multiple times, and nothing.
SOME ONE IN THERE FRONT OFFICE IS A GODDAMN THEIF, but their GEAR is the shit. NO LIE. i have no stake in their company and am pissed as hell I lost my money. but the seeds i got years ago from them were nothing short of top shelf fire.

The real answer has been given many times in this thread. Its all laid out for you to read, plain as day, crystal clear. Is it possible that the reasoning that you can't accept these as legitimate answers is simply because it isn't what you want to hear? The truth sometimes hurts. These beans are NOT GSC and highly doubtful that the genetics even remotely resemble our local Cut.The only way to sample the hype for yourself and to determine for yourself if it lives up to said hype, is to obtain the clone in southern CA. One really needs to look no further than basic breeding knowledge to determine that the end product of all these crosses slapped with a marketing name isn't GSC.
Man, these reincarnated GSC threads never cease to offer up some entertainment however.

Months ago i saw on another community that cannaventure's cookie wreck if that is the one you are referring to was the forum cut. And that was a limited release. Could not tell you if it was valid or not I did ask a guy here that is well versed in gsc and he could not verify or discredit what I read.

If one parent here was the GSC forum cut, what was the other?
Obviously that matters a great deal, especially if you're interested in creating offspring that look like the GSC (instead of some mish-mash hybrid).
So this is the real problem; because GSC is unstable (ie hybridized) no matter WHAT you cross GSC with you're not going to end up with GSC.
If you cross it with something different, you have a 50-50 cross. The plant may be awesome in its own right, but its clearly NOT going to be GSC.
If you cross it with itself (ie via a sex reversed female), now you potentially have a thousand different phenos in the offspring. Some of them will be entirely UNLIKE GSC. Most will have some traits of GSC, but be noticeably different. And a rare few might be really close to GSC. These are called "S1s" and every account I've seen of GSC S1s is that they throw off a lot of phenos, and finding ones that look like the original parent is hard to impossible. I think that's what BCBudDepot is supposed to be selling, as are a few others trying to cash in on the hype.
Bottom line is, unless you've been working on selectively breeding a GSC line for several years (and none of these commercial ceed sellers have), there is no possible way you can put out a pack of ceeds where most, or even a significant percentage of ceeds in the pack will grow into a GSC-like plant, and even if you have, its not going to be easy.

I swear, from where I am 1000 miles away, GSC looks like a Beanie Babies bubble.
Can someone out there on the West Coast explain to be why (other than name/hype) GSC is better than 20 other "elite" kushes floating around?

My lady likes to have variety so she grabs an eighter of GSC every now and then. Don't get me wrong, it's top shelf buds for sure, but really? Girl Scout Cookie thin mints? Nonsense. It's a piney smell/ flavor that I guess could be construed as slightly minty. Last time i had thin mints they were chocolate covered. Wheres the chocolate undertones in GSC buds?
Mint is also a common ingredient in toothpaste. Somehow I doubt Colgate OG would have made the same mark in the industry.
Maybe a Chocolope X GSC cross. Now we're getting closer..

I think the point is, if you really want the "clone only" strain, you're going to have to start with a clone, not a ceed, that's all. At this point there are probably any number of places you can get it, including even outside CA.
And in response to your juvenile posted remarks on my visitor page, honestly I couldn't give a rat's ass about "girl scout cookies" either way. I just think its funny how people are going cuckoo over this "flavor of the month" strain, that's all.
I'm not "jealous" at all. . .If I wanted a cut, I could make it happen pretty easily, I think. I just don't.
Its not that I don't think the line is any good (I'm sure its excellent in its own right), but if we're talking about "clone only" stuff, I can think of at least a dozen others off the top of my head I'd rather grow instead.

I guess I just havent, after sampling the buds, really cared enough to go on a quest for the true lineage of the strain.( and just assumed the strain was birthed in southern CA like most of the other World's elite
)But Touche G.Farmer, Touche.. With that said, just secured a dozen GSC cuts from a buddy down south. Picking them up this week. Might as well give it a fair shot in the grow room.They might have to wait a minute in veg though as Im a little more eager to flower my Bodhi seeds. As for GSC seed offerings from various breeders? It's not better. It is tastier than just about any elite clone. It's smoother and not harsh on the lungs compared to other clones. To Women this is very important. The potency is about a 7 or 8. Not weak at all, it makes my eyes red like mexican swag. It's the only strain that gets my eyes red for some reason. I think the elite clone only True OG shits all over it. Along with a bunch of other OG's. It is worth having in your collection. To me it's like a better version of Blue Dream with a smaller yield but more of a body high. I prefer Platinum Blue Dream over regular Blue Dream, it hits the body more.
Anyone thinking they can get GSC from seeds is LOL. Grow 300 S1's outdoors and you'll get something good or even better. Buy a 10 pack and you're just playing the lotto.

I have no rep with BC bud depot, but ill post when I finally do get some of their beans, going with animal cookies, girls scout cookies,socal master kush and their fire og bx3. I have grown plants from other seedbanks that have been hated on, and hell they have some fire stuff. So again ill have to find out for myself, seems few breeders are circles themselves, once you figure it out theres nice genetics to be had.
