Thought I would finally wrap this thread up.
I have finally finished up the grow room, at least enough to start using it! Had to get it done as I had some plants in veg that could no longer fit in their 2x2. I would have been done way sooner but my wife made me finish the garage before I did any more work on the grow room.
To finish the floor I filled in any large holes in the plywood with wood filler and sanded smooth. Then I put down geofabric on the seams and covered with five coats of liquid rubber primer. Finally finished with 8 coats of liquid rubber white deck cover. I was very happy with the final finish.
I made a quick table with SCROG net attachment and plumbed a few of the mixing tubs from home depot mentioned earlier in the thread for drain trays.
Final thoughts:
Ventilation:
Well my initial plan of pulling the air from my air conditioned house did not work. My house has an ambient temp of about 72F at any given time. Unfortunately that was not cool enough to prevent my room from overheating slowly even with my 8" fans pulling and exhausting at full. I tried dimming my lights as they were on full, but found that even dimmed down to 700w from 950ishw it was still climbing. The only way to keep it cool enough was to use a portable AC. Once I was into the end of October I was easily able to passively cool pulling air from my garage. Next summer I might try to see if I can get a boxed in window ac going or possibly DIY minni split, but can always fall back to the portable AC.
@BigDawg@1964 with respect to the drywall I have my fingers crossed I don't have the same experience as you did. I can't see how a material that is designed to be used in a high moisture environment such as greenboard would be more prone to mold then plywood. I went to great lengths to ensure this room is insulated as well as possible, I also added a vapor barrier in hopes that it will prevent any moisture build up in the walls. Only time will tell tough, so fingers crossed. I do appreciate the heads up as an ounce of experience is worth a ton of theory, I think that how it goes

Here is a pic of the ladies in their new home. I will create a journal if anyone wants to follow along come check it out, you can let me know what I am doing wrong. These are a few LSD Autos I only got to SCROG for about a week before they started doing their thing. We can talk about all my noob issues moving them to their new location in the journal.
