Just doing some preliminary research and was wondering if anyone has ever grown BC seed Kings feminized purple kush outdoors in BC, Canada? I was curious if it would be ready before the end of September? Anybody have any experience with this strain that they'd be willing to share? The BC grow season tends to start on June 1 and finishes up usually by the end of September but sometimes we're lucky and we get a few weeks of sunshine into October.

If you would like to tell me what feminized strains have worked for you in BC outside I'm also all ears on that as well so long as thy were ready by the end of Sept.

Thanks to all who post!

I can't comment on his seed stock, but I know that people do put Purple Kush outdoors and it finishes quick enough. You probably want a good spot with full sun to avoid issues with PM.

Anesthesia from Sannies finishes early October and is better smoke than PK is IMO. You could harvest late Sept probably too, I mean with beans there's always gonna be quicker ones. Not feminized unfortunately.

Most of the genetics suitable to outdoors in Canada are not feminized. The stuff that is seems to all be autoflowering.

What gear is Koot bringing to the table?

The Anesthesia is a good one IMO. Maybe a little later finisher than most would like, but not so late that you don't have a really nice chance of something wonderful. I pulled a lot of nice colas off mine and the smoke was better than any of the Timewarp Crosses or Timewarp I saw.

Jessica D you are absolutely right. If I had the ability to grow out the seeds to get my females I would! I love how the early grizzly do outdoors and the nuggets are like small corn on the cobs after you've eaten them. Nothing airy at all. So I am preparing for my outdoor summer by looking at what fem seed I can get my hands on that will work outdoors in BC. I don't have the luxury of growing indoors at all.

I agree with you Jessica D. I loved koots early grizzly. If you want to buy any they are available at hempdepot.ca. Can I ask if there are any recommendations for fem strains that do well outdoors in BC?

Thanks on the hemp depot tip they were out of stock the other day. Last yr i did seedsman ww fem and it was superb sugar coated easy to trim and finished faster then most but still start of oct.

This yr i am trying heavyweight seeds fruit punch fem 1000gram a plant and end of sept but most breeders lie so take info with grain of salt lol 22%thc 1.2cbd haha maybe it would be my dream plant but it could suck.
