BC Seedking Purps and BC Mango

This is my 3rd grow. The first one was a learning experience from the standpoint that I grew 3 plants, almost killed two by burning the main colas with my CFLs after forgetting the time the lights came on(one of the main colas doubled over after an almost full thickness burn). They continued to grow and I harvested about 5 oz. The second grow began with 2 mothers and 5 clones. I had the clones in flower after growing 6", but then I forgot about the timer again, left the closet shut, and the 5 in flower cooked. I then proceeded to over water them and only 1 survived. I harvested the single plant 2 weeks early because I was dry and got probably 3/4 oz. So after completely fucking up twice I figure the 3rd time is the charm. So here it is:

Strains: BC Mango and Purps, both from BCseedking
Lights: 17 42 watt CFLs from Target
Soil: Fox Farm
Nutrients: for veg: Miracle grow
for flowerin: shultz bloom plus, and molasses
In Flower: 3 BC Mango and 3 Purps
Veg time: until approx 8-10" or LST
Clones: I don't know as I've stopped labeling them and identify them by flowering phenotype.

I just smoked a quick dried piece of the Purps this evening because I am dry. Probably in about the 7th week now. Trichomes are cloudy(Pics below) This piece has really blown me away. Granted, I haven't smoked for 5 days. I think I still have like 2 weeks to go. Maybe I should flush now, but I'm going to wait until I see like 20% amber trichomes. I've never flushed before so I'm going to guesstimate this.

The other pic is of a mango. This mango is in its 4th week.

After further review, I have decided that I will not be flushing my plants.

None of those plants appear to be close to being ready yet. Just a thought. BTW, stop picking at them because you're "dry" have some patience.

Looks good man. Can't wait to see what you yield dry.

Yeah I agree, 2 weeks more at least. I can't help but pick at it every 5 days. Either way, in 5 weeks I'm going to have more weed than I know what to do with(and then more on the way after that!). I have 17 viable plants at this point so if I flower them all, I'll have at least 17oz in 4 months. Kind of scary really. In my life, the ganj was always more of a demand than a supply. I welcome the change.

Here is the 3 plant pot with 2 Purps and a Mango. Sounds like the name of a good band. I have a pic of a Mango and Purps together so you can see how they differ in branching. They are at about 3 weeks flowering.

Funny thing. I was just giving advice to someone on what to use for spider mites and it made me want to check my own plants. I sprayed the top of the soil with water and I saw some crawling on the pot edge. So I'm treating now with this. I've had spider mites before. Not fun. I hope I caught them early. Pics of the ones further along flowering will come in like 20 minutes.

The lower trichomes on the 7 week Purps have started to turn amber, but overall I would say its 5% amber at this point.

Well, I couldn't fight desire to be stoned on a free Saturday. I clipped some bud today off the Purps.

Well I didn't know what to do with all the clones I had, so I stuck 6 in one pot and LST'd them around the edge. Then I took 3 others and LST'd them around a smaller pot. Then I had 5 left over, so I'm just going to flower them in their plastic cups and flower the rest too. I imagine I'll have to transplant them or something later down on the line.

Anyone know if I can just flower them in their plastic cups? I know I would have to water them more often, but I've seen a plant by fdd2blk that was massive and was in a plastic cup. Unless it's photoshopped of course.

So in total, I have 19 plants flowering. Although they are still small. that's crazy number of plants!

Great looking grow man. Could use some more posts in it, because it really is a nice grow. I'd say get a like rubbermaid tub, just small one that will fit 5 cups in there, then fill it about half way with soil, and cut off the bottom of the cups if they become rootbound, and they should start just growing into the bottom dirt. Don't see why it wouldnt? Check out my grow. Your obviously doing something right to get those girls that nice looking, so I can always use another persons advice.

Edit: What are your nutrients you are using? It says miracle grow for veg, but what kind of miracle grow?

I'm going couch lock on this batch. But once I don't have to think about needing weed, and it is always there, then I'll mix it up and pull some at different points during flowering to see the different effects.

The MG is 20-20-20.

nice grow you got going on here..i got some purps,white widow,ak47 and kush seeds from bc and they all germinated so far and i got 3 white widow females and 1 purps out of 7 plants..My next grow will be with the kush,ak47 and im thinking of another strain to order from them..

That is a real nice grow you got there! Are you guys that ordered from there stateside? I would like to give his purps a try as they look alot better than TH Seeds version. How long did the whole order process take?
