BCNL Producer Grow

What up fellas, finally done with my first BCNL Producer grow. For the most part the box was everything I thought it was. The ease of use was phenomenal.

The final wet weight was 85 ounces and after a week in the dryers my final weight was 15 ounces. The box was paid for in its first grow. So from here on out all the harvest will be strictly profit/personal. Minus my 40 bucks for electricity/month, and the 22.50 for RO H20, and 50 for CO2 I think I came out all right.

Things the BCNL could change for better operation:

1. Programming chip: when you are in veg both the 400s and the CFL lights would run for 18-6 or 24-0. Also, so that when the flower switch is on the cfl and HID lights are on.

2. The power of the exhaust fan needs improvement. Does not create enough negative pressure to kill off all the smell.

3. The glass between the lights and the plants need to be hinged like the mother ships design. For easy cleaning.

4. Attachment and standardized oscillating fan as an accessory with the package.

Just my 2cents, BCNL has probably improved on some of these issues.

I Totally agree!! There are a couple improvements that could be made, but ultimately I am a very satisfied customer!!

Have you seen the Cultivator Pro bu Homegrown Hydroponics? I just got mine today, and the top swings open making it easy to clean the glass. It's on spring loaded hinges and locks into place so you can also change the lamps or whatever.

Interesting to say the least, i like the idea of a little more grow room, and the top coming up like that is trick!! Cost is real similar also.

ya, it does cost some initial investment, but I got most of my money back on the first grow. so it ends up working out in my favor in the end bro.

How was the smell on that thing? Also, same question for the dryer how would you rate the performance of the dryer. What strains did you grow to get that yield?

cannonpirate: The smell on the producer was descent. I think I needed to update the carbon in the thing. But it did a decent job. If you get a new one im sure the carbon will do alot better job than mine. The dryer on the other hand works to no limit. I didnt get a sliver of smell out of that thing and it dryed everything in a week.

I ran NLxBB for 9.5 weeks and got 15 ozs. That pretty much got all of my money back on the thing. Hope this helps you out brother
