I think I am going to have to get a batch for comparison purposes, and have a friend grow it out in their garden to avoid confusions. If your seeds won't sprout, attitude has the landrace Acapulco like I said earlier

Wow, this is just too easy not to give it a try. We have so many seeds...go to hb-101's usa site and request free sample.. when u get 5 vial samples use it in a gallon of water and germinate. if one pops and it turns out to be fire call it "Strocat's Solution"
WRONG! soaking can work, many do it wrong, with the wrong water(s)! The big thing today is that many big name seed breeders are now telling you NOT to pre-soak seeds,,,,,THEY DROWN easily! Also you guys shouldn't germinate in paper towels if you can help it, Yes it works and I do it from time to time too with proven genetics and fresh seeds but when you do it if you dont get a chance to plant it immediately after the tap root comes out , you can damage the tiny little root hairs on the root and kill the seedling. The best way to go is to place it in water or soil .
Man, I'm sorry that happened to him. The fallout from murder goes deep into the family of victims. I hope you all are able to find some peace.a dope addict killed him for a couple grand in his wallet. The kid was supposed to be "family" , a 19 year old punk who needed a needle full and i guess saw it as the only way to get it, Fucked up part is he only got to spend about 100 bucks of the cash before the state police nabbed him nodded out in the parking lot of a kmart. now he is doing life at 19 years old.
you gotta journal this sht!
I read on another thread just like a week ago, about lining a match box with 150 grit and shaking for a full minute. I think the scoures help asorbe waterGreat info, and just the feedback I was looking for! This is the second suggestion I have heard about scoring the seeds with sandpaper / abrasive. So the aim is to scuff the seam of the seed, to help open it up? Very clever.
Not bad info at all! Some strains have seeds that have rather thick seed hulls. So think that they don't pop well! This helps some of those out.I read on another thread just like a week ago, about lining a match box with 150 grit and shaking for a full minute. I think the scoures help asorbe water
Yeah, I remember when 10 or 20 bucks would buy a lid of A. Gold but in the late 60's the Red was floating around and all of sudden they wanted 30 bucks. After that I didn't search for weed that much since acid was really good back then. The Columbian is what caused the price spike from $5 to $35 per lid.. price has been going up ever since... haha I've been told the stories too. I'm sure there are plenty here who can tell the stories first hand.
Soaking FOR SURE works ... with ALL seeds I have done many side by sides in my outside gardens and germination rates are much better and faster.. the seeds I most recently popped, we're opening after only 24 in my well water (no chlorine here) one day in the moist paper towels after that and they were 100% ready! I will always soak my seedsWRONG! soaking can work, many do it wrong, with the wrong water(s)! The big thing today is that many big name seed breeders are now telling you NOT to pre-soak seeds,,,,,THEY DROWN easily!
Do NOT use distilled water or water that has been left out to get rid of chlorine - etc. No bottled waters!
WHY?
They lack the dissolved oxygen needed to pop that seed! The seed needs that o2 to properly keep going after the seed even cracks!
You can add a few drops of H2o2 but, it actually dissipates quickly......Skip soaking and try other methods!
I support the gibberellic acid method for OLD SEEDS!
yes, first place I saw this method was in Cervantes "grow bible" I don't do it with fresher seeds but I think in ops case, this is the time to try it.I read on another thread just like a week ago, about lining a match box with 150 grit and shaking for a full minute. It won't let me view your journalI have started a grow journal to document this journey; it's open to comment. I will continue this thread for additional discussion and updates. The first update is that I just finished the first sort and count; looks like my first estimate was close; I have 989 seeds.

I think you need to re-read my post , I absolutely agree with everything you said. Soil is the way to go, That being said when I soak a seed in a glass of water I use carbonated water , Even then the risk of drowning is greater. the natural way of doing it is the real way to go. Nature knows her shit BBWRONG! soaking can work, many do it wrong, with the wrong water(s)!
