So it's pointless to say that Chateau La Fete Rothschild is hard to beat in the wine world?
I've smoked lots of different things. There's a lot of great shit that isn't OGK, but in LA OGK is premium above all other strains... and growers and dispensaries are everywhere. People from all over come to California to buy our genetics (that's our OG Kush genetics) and smuggle them out of state. You from SoCal?
There's that too. But smoke some of my shit for a while, you won't want whatever you were smoking before.

i'm not from SoCal. I'm from New York. I have a few houses in Sonoma County though. I actually live in Central America most of the time. Chateau LaFite is a great wine house. But calling their vintages the BEST in the world would be hard to do and greatly contested.
I don't know anyone sneaking into Cali for genetics or strains. anywhere you go people always have a favorite and it isn't always OGK. guys up in Nor Cal laugh at guys in So Cal. Organic Growers laugh at Synthetic Growers. Dirt guys laugh at Soil guys. it's all bullshit. dank is dank. i've smoked plenty of OGK in my day and i've smoked plenty that was better in my opinion.

Everyone who grows sticky, crystal covered shit in their closet thinks theirs is the best. It's just grower's pride.
But think of your environment compared to Los Angeles (a city synonymous with cannabis and OG Kush). We're the highest profile city in a state that was the first to legalize cannabis for medical use. We're the entertainment capital of the world... And let's face it, cannabis is entertainment as well as medicine.
The scene here is more expansive and developed than it is is even in other medical states. So our shit is better than the shit in Colorado, Michigan or elswhere. That's just statement of fact. So if you're in an illegal state, there's no way whatever you can get you hands on can compare with our primo OGK. No way.
When I was in high school, my Hawaiian friends were the kings of weed. Now Hawaiians jones after OG Kush... as they rightly should. Hawaii has nothing on SoCal.
Oh, and when I say OG Kush is the best, I mean the original cuts from SoCal, not all that seed stuff calling itself OG Kush. Is there a difference? What do you think?

What's "plenty of OGK in my day?" I can't speak for the OGK you've smoked in the past. Everyone slaps the name OGK on everything because of its popularity. Does't mean you're smoking the real thing. I can only speak for what we grow here and now.
You're talking about regional rivalries and arguments regarding technique. I'm talking about OG Kush.
Everyone has a favorite based on the scale of quality available to them. Our favorite is OG Kush for a reason.

we'll just have to agree to disagree. i know plenty of Nor Cal growers that would beg to differ with you that So Cal is where it's at as far as Cali goes. It's all opinion. I can only speak from experience and no one I know is asking about OG Kush like it's the second coming of Christ. I've smoked plenty of the "real" deal cause it was everywhere out there for a while. It's quality shit but it's no better than a hundred other strains I can think of.
And everyone does grow fire nowadays. that's the beaty of indoor. So trying to say the best growers and genetics are in Cali is just false in my opinion.

I have tried OG, God BUD, Diesels', Original Afghan, Original lambsbread (grown by my grand mamma) any many others that claim supremacy over other strains; they were all great tasting strains in their own way but still none that rise above the others.
I am a sampler of all bud, from top shelf dank to dirt ditch weed. I would gobble up your bud and thank you kindly and start off in search of more delicious bud.
