how did you do that? i tried it the same way took the lense out of one of my old computers and all it did was give me the same type of close up my swiss army knife gave me. am i doing it wrong?

Dude those swiss army pics look better than the OP's pics in my oppinion. No offense or anything lol. That is a genious idea, i have like 4 old cdroms/dvd drives that i could use right now! Too bad i dont have thichomes as of yet. :-(

ever try "Macro Mode" on your point and shoot digital camera...I have one from four years ago and I took this last week....

just use the flash....with your lights on.....and don't get hung up on getting it all in focus it wont happen

very nice papa. but i think the point of this was to get a high quality closeup of some trichs without having to spend the money for a digital camera! haha never did get my phone to work though...

so the focus thing really doesnt matter it'll just catch the trics regardless?..and macro mode? my girl has a camera but i dont much use it much ide rather the phone and lense from the cd rom..how does it get so close do i have to like shove the lense really sloe..and the camera phone..how far from the lense should the phone be or can i place it there and hold it with some tape?

yeah just tape it slighty to the lens on the phone. there are pics and ways to do it a few pages back...

was the exclamation point really necessary? were you implying that if you were speaking you'd be yelling? if that is the case, then how much was your camera phone! (and its not free if you got it as part of your plan, cause you get bent over every month for that!) my point and shoot was $79 USD many years ago! so maybe high quality postworthy pics are not as expensive as one might think!

was belittling me because of an exclamation point really necessary? haha and "how much is your camera phone!" is a question not a statement to be yelled!!! but anyways yeah it was free and i pay 10 bucks a month for it...
