beauty and the beast

hello all and its good to be here i have a question that has been on my mind almost as much as my bud .. look i recently got some strawberry deisel from a freind and it was a great smoke but he told me that he only hung dried it and then started to get rid of it so after thinking about it from all that ive red on curing in this forum i thought that i would try to recure half of the one he gave me... this is what happened i took a puzzle box placed buds in and then each day for a week i opened the box to check and replace air once the stems were where i wanted i moved the goods to my large mason jars and the first week burped twice a day for 10 minutes after that i burped once a day for the next two weeks the smell inside the jar was incredible potent. i finally started to smoke and get rid of some and it was pure fire the best ive ever had the only thing or problem i have with the proccess is that the bud loses all its crystals in this proccess almost looking like bunk weed people would look at it and think it was bull until i convinced them to try it out then they wre sold lastly the smell why after curing does the smell more quickly disipate once removed from the jar.any one know ...joint:

In a plastic bag maybe, glass is non-porous as I'm sure you know.

Hmmm, that's strange man. Never heard of that. Every time I've done that in sealed glass jars I find it to be quite rewarding.

dont get me wrong the smoke was great as i said its just the change in crystals leaving and the lost of smeel once removed from the jar..the smoke some of te best without question maybe it could the strains or somthing but i like to look at my crystals and smell it as well..lollike you do fine wine..
