Time to check one of my little experiments.

As you can see from the pictures the roots have 2 areas, an upper and a lower. If you look closely you can see the difference in the medium_just to see what would happen, when I transplanted this plant the first time (which was 2 times ago) I used some Miracle Grow Premium Organic.

Seems to me the roots_given a choice_decided not to expand into the Miracle Grow area with the same amount of vigor that it did in the Fox Farms Ocean Forrest.

FYI - was in a 1.5 qt. 1.4liter pot

Draw your own conclusions. I know what I think 8)

holy fuck man it took me almost3 hours to read all that....mind you im flying high. you had alot of interesting ideas. Do you or any of you following these posts know anything about black body? And also has anyone ever wondered why plants grow so rapidly under high voltage power lines????? im talking about the ones you can hear humming above your head

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with 'electro magnetic flux'. All that I am for sure about is that, the government made it a law that you can't build playgrounds under those suckers any more. Go figure.

Generally speaking driving under those lines will make your radio go crazy, so either one of two things are happening. 1. it is bending the waves or 2. the power is so strong that radio waves can not penetrate.

I don't like 'em.


Thanks for taking the time to read our rants :) See anything that really made sense or just the ravings of a mad man?

Is that really true . . because my back yard backs right up to one of those high power lines . . big ass towers . . can i use this to my benefit ?

its something to do with electromagnetic radiation and its absorbtion go to wikipedia and type it in im just way to high to understand it i didnt know if someone could explain it simpler

Flux happens when you energize a wire. It travels in the same path as the current.

As the energy is pushed thru the wire, some of the energy 'leaks' out, this stuff that leaks out is called 'radiation' or 'magnetic flux'.

Since it is radiation, time and distance are your friend, the further you get away from it and the longer the event happened without you being there is better. Kinda like Microsoft. rofl.

Bottom line - Time & Distance are your friends, it's radiation.

I'm not sure why the roots preferred certain parts of the soil and not others. It is clear though that the roots were very happy, till the mg soil, got sad and then moved into the lower soil quite happilly.

I've never liked MG but that was down to my own problems with their nutes, they alsmost killed off a whole strain I had.

Well, I've got the 4 girls in their own high rise now. I'll split them out into larger accommodations when they require more space.

Presently, I'm thinking of going 12/12 on the 9th_which is no moon.

Well, I've arrived at the conclusion that I have too many plants for the space. Must think about options, just don't want to trash 'em.

Lights haven't come on for today yet, shortly, but not yet. I'm wondering if my luck has run out with the ratio of girls to males, to plants. With 4 showing out of 9, I'm "right there statistically".

I'd really like some fully matured seeds out of this effort_which will make most of you crazy, but some of the absolute best weed I've ever smoked had seeds. :hump:8):hump:

totally agree with you....I realize that view is totally the contrary to mass pyschology and the herd (or is that herb) behaviour....
