beginner in here with questions ^_^

Well.. I've been reading through this site and other places on how to grow weed correctly, and I must say I really am interested in trying. But before I do I like some questions answered if anyone out there is willing to help a newb out.

First off this is my first time attempting, and I'm kinda confused and worried about messing up, but that wont get me anywhere closer to gettin stoned.


1)What are the minimum costs to start this project? I have about 300$ to spend at the moment.

2)What Bulb setup do you experts recommend for a newbie to handle? I was thinking 1 CFL lamp with 125watt 6500k bulb for veg then change it with a 125watt 2700k bulb for flowering

3)My goals were to created a box suitable for 2-3 plants with ventillation systems / AC, with 1 hanging lamp up top with a closable front panel. Does this sound realistic or should I just start out simple? ( I wanted something personal that I could easily bring around.. you know like a computer to lan with buddies)

4)Can someone provide a Simple Newb Grow Shopping list? I'll have a clear understanding of what I need and hopefully it will help other newbs browsing this site.

your going to need more light. what type of yield are you looking for?

Welcome to the forum. Check out Barrel of Green posted in this forum by Major Toke. This 'barrel' would be good for someone just wanting to grow enough for themselves. Then all you would need would be a small vegging/ cloning area which can be done with cfl's. VV
