Beginner's luck on first batch bho...

Just ran my first batch ever of some bho and it came out killer! I'm so happy about it that I had to come tell some people since I pretty much lost all my friends when I started growing... and shortly after I was putting all my little HARD earned money into my setup and medicine so I stopped paying my cell phone bill and thats when I really pretty much lost contact with everyone...anyways I used some fresh dried nugs that were in the freezer for like an hour(sad I know but I had a ~4hour total window of opportunity). I also froze the tane.. I made my own lil ~7g extractor out of a test tube (shot tube thanks jagermeister) Put on 4 filters(too many anyone?) Ran about 4oz instead of 2 that I wanted but its hard when you have a full 8oz can.. I ettedid 2 runs and got nothing on the second...but the first...woww def. better than any dispensary wax I've ever gotten(which just confirms how I thought disp. were awesome but they're really not at all) It came out kinda like maple syrup but a little thicker right now, it was clear golden but maybe I had the water bath too high, I tried to keep it around 120 and then 135 at the end to make sure I got whatever I could without going too high. Its like a really hard to describe color like dijan mustard... not golden or yellow but in between I guess... Anyways Thanks for reading! Terribly sorry I don't have a camera to show this stuff, maybe tomorrow but I couldn't wait... I think I ended up with maybe about .5-1g from the ~7g of mostly bud maybe a little sugar leaves.

Nice job! Fresh dried nugs make the best oil! I think most if not all dispensaries stuff is from trim.

and loaded with butane... most people don't know what their doing whether it's using bleached coffee filters or low quality butane.. If you value your health I would always suggest making your own, not to say there aren't a few places that sell proper bho but why risk your health?

Not everyone is smart enough to work safely with flammable solvents.

too true. idiots just proved that not too long ago a few miles from me by blowing up their apartment

I wouldn't make it myself unless i had the right equipment... thankfully.. I got that covered.

but yeah.. why risk your health?, you blasted some flowers and trim but did you vac purge it? is it stable?

an you said it is a maple syrup consistency.. well boy.. that isn't WAX! still got TANE IN IT!!!

EDIT: i still prefer a see through glass

some people disagree but I feel honeycomb/wax is the superior consistency for bho. nothing like taking a little crumb in your fingers and dropping it on the nail

there is no such thing as beginers luck, you read all the info, you took precaution, you applied supplies from step one to finish, you've done well. apply the same steps to everything after.

Of course I prefer a skillet over a nail..

I use my skillet when I want to really get super medicated. The nail is my daily driver. I need to get my persei back out and use that.

Thank you sir and everyone else, I think this is what it was..After fully purging it came out to a soft whiteish/blonde wax, really happy except for the small lost amount of product.
