funest time of the year for growers, although it can be stressful if you dont take proper precautious

last yr i got bud worm that basically destroyed my single plant that i had, but this year i got some bt and running some better gear (sannies killings fields and anesthia)

one thing that f'd me up last year too was topping and fimmig too much, so when they budded they were very bushy and didnt get proper air flow leading to some mold

just thought this thread could have some tips to ensure top grade outdoor buds come october, please post

Gotta be proactive with budworms, inspect daily. At the first sign, get BT or Spinosad and do rregular sprays to keep them from ruining things

one more thing iam doing this year is hitting it was some "kelp green" even during flower, very lite nutrient rated like 1.27-0.25-0.32, just to keep the leaves green throughout flowering, they starting to die off last year before they got to finish

some I have learned..

1 grow as big as ya can
2 dont let dogs near the grow.. esp that one that sheds!
3 dollar store has some great cheap items for growing.
4 having the ability to check your plants every time you want saves you loss in crop from pests-other issues..

I too am going to be using liquid kelp during flower. however some leaves dieing starting around the 6th week of flower is totally fine. I like to hit with veg nutes right before flower so they are a dark green when they start flowering.

One suggestion i can make is follow a flowering nutrient program... they change theyre nutrient uptake needs every couple weeks during the flowering phase. Giving them exactly what they need with help you with a nice good clean product.

Be vigilant in inspecting your plants for pest/deficiencies if possible. Also, get yourself some Caterpillar killer (BT) and look closely for eggs (tiny little clear/yellow eggs). Caterpillars can decrease your yield greatly if not protected.

How deep into flower do you guys spray bt?
I have heard up until 2 weeks before harvest......but i don't know if I even trust that......They say do a couple last rinses with just Ph'd water and you should be fine.....idk though
