in what way is it better?
Is Fox Farm Ocean Forest even inoculated with any Spores or Bacteria?

Happy frog comes with an advanced micro herd with no need for any
inoculation, ocean forest is mainstream low quality, mass produced
garbage. Simply put, Fox Farm is an "organic like" media with no
living organisms which means the plant is unable to break down the complex
guanos, castings and other heavy slow releasing organic ferts. This means
you spend more money, and more time inoculating. How would you digest
food with out your stomach? There are living organisms and bacteria in
your stomach which break down the food you eat. The same goes for plants.
I guess you didn't know this.

You keep posting your charts, i'll keep posting the facts.

Looks like ph lockout, the dolomite might be ur problem, cal mag prolly help, and I think run off should be below 6...
And how did I directly quote what you said was wrong with this plant?

You said it was the lime locking out the Cal Mag and throwing the pH off.

You were incorrect. And adding more Cal Mag would have only furthered the
problem, and without the Lime the pH would have been even more fucked. Either
needed more Lime, or less Sunshine.

Hi Shrubs,

Thanks for your quick response. I thought the lockout could have been from a calcium excess. I haven't fed cal. mag. to fix the problem.

i don't think the flush I did with epson salt could hurt. Putting more magnesium in the soil mixture might not help either. With lockout issues like these, can the plant still take in nutrients through foliar feeding? What kind of regime would you feed them?

Right now, I spraying them once every 2 days with 2tsp magnesium sulfate: 1 Pint distilled water. In between the foliar feedings I spraying twice a day with just distilled water.

For the next two weeks i'm planning on only watering with ph adjusted water, a roots enhancer (it's just EM, some amino acids and b vitamins i think) and maybe dyna gro pro tekt (low level of potassium and high level of silicon). Anything here you would change?

As of now, it seems like the above treatment has slowed the leaf destruction. I'll post pictures later. Also, the super lemon haze does not seem to have any browning. It's bottom fan leaves are, however, crisper and the tips are cupping slightly. Seems to be hardier than the vanilla kush when it comes to this problem.

Ok, 1. I said sunshine had a more "cool/ professional" look, that black bag is sexy, the blue fishy Ff looks gay as fuck...but I guess that's a matter of opinion...
2. Fox farm nutes have active organisms In them anyways, and oganisms in The HP are dead in weeks, needing more to be put in by nutes or supliments...but u knew that right? OF is better, wider range of nutes, more fine and airated

and Medicalmary, my boy is growin Superlemonhaze, very resilant strain can be put through anything and put out good smoke, hope u pulld some clones... But I'm off this thread, just remember who diagnosed ur girls correct...first

By the way, which one has the "cool" label desperately trying to get
your attention?

Tard.
Curbstomped! Hahahahaha

Chebus I've seen posters like you constantly and their join date is always within the last 60 days. I know your brand new hobby is fun and all, but why don't you build up some experience before jumping into diagnosing problems. I seriously doubt you've even pulled in a harvest of your own. If you really think you're pro, I'll go back and trash your advice but I'm pretty certain shrubs already beat yo ass off.

Medmary - RIU can be great help, but watch for posters with their join date within the last 6 months. Facts are usually scrambled and advice is assumption and conjecture. Sometimes they're growers from other sites. . . . but thats real rare.

Haha, if the organisms in your HP are dead in weeks I don't want to know
what you're feeding your plants man. The plant keeps the organisms
supplied with Carbohydrates as long as your plant has enough light and nutrients.
That is until flowering and all you have to do is supplement with carbohydrates.
This is the whole reason the micro herd stays in the rhizome, if they would be
dead in weeks, why would they have a symbiotic relationship with the plants?
That means the plant would be dead in weeks as well you tard.

You're just spitting out this ridiculous information your friends told you, or which
you misread off of some website. Go to school kid.

The stabilizers in FFOF are carbonates and bicarbonates, which is shitty
in the first place, this will eventually cause your pH to be ruined anyways.
Adding lime is the most stable way to really take care of your pH. What do
you know about dolomite anyways? Go do some WikiResearch. Wait
I'll save you the time, it is a Molecule with 2 Anions and 2 Cations making
it pH Neutral and a solid way to balance your pH through granulation.

Judging how good information I's by a RIU join date eh? how u know im not a local at other sites? How u know I don't have other Snames? U don't... Know shit....so lick shrubs balls on ur own time, or threw PM u can send gay pics, lol, and shrubs like I said whatever man, just the fact u think the oganisms in the HF will lasT from seed to havest without and extra additives containing them makes your opinion pointless to me, but maybe not some kids...Oh yea and big words don't mean shit either

Be a little more humble chebus. Your harsh words prove you inexperience imo. Guys who know what they doing don't need to resort to name calling.

They started name calling first, and no offecne... bro, but ur statement is about as dumb as that ball licker who thinks info is only as good as a RIU join date...but mAye that's why there are so many fuckd plants on this site, and like iv already said, u kids do what u want/works for you... I'm over it And gonna continue to smoke some perfectly Grown/cured buddddz

You have no opinion or information to add, only rediculous statements and nonsense.
which you regurgitate from other morons you heard it from.

what makes you think there isnt inoculants in the ffof?

-to the original poster, i would say u have a mag def likely caused by too much calcium.

We learned this in greenhouse management, Fox Farm OF is meant to be mixed with Happy
Frog. HF is their mycorrhizal.

They brag about it all over their bags, even the light warrior says "contains mycorrhizae".

No mycorrhizae, no trichoderma, there is lots of Humus, Bone meal, Blood Meal, crab meal, guano, castings
and that stuff is all good, but for the plant to efficiently use most of it, colonies are necessary.

Does anyone use this product?

http://www.emearth.com/emshop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=329

I use EM-1 to inoculate my garden space, compost pit and to create bokashi. It's cheap and you can create you own effective microorganism colonies. I think it contains over 130 beneficial bacteria. All you need, right? I use molasses to supplement simply sugars for the bacteria when applying, but they will propagate and maintain on there own without additional carbohydrates. Thinking about inoculating next batch of sunshine mix.

shrubs your grow is weak, that much electricity waisted on light and temperature control and u cant even pull a oz a plant you fucking clown, lol...not to mention u actually bought a fan from HomeDepot to cool ur HID lights, LOL!!! maybe you should go take more classes

Haha how amusing. Your offensive remarks just show how
jealous you are. Obviously you've never grown. That much foliage
in a small space causes a ton of problems. No excuses, I feel that
there's none needed, I know that you resent me cause I Study how
I'm greeted. I explain what went wrong in my grow, these problems
are most likely why my yield was low, but quality was not sacrificed.
And my patients were all satisfied, as well as me being able to keep meds
for myself. Efficiency is something which comes after years of experience, I
am under 25 with only 3 years of horticultural experience, and only 2 years of
personal caregiving under my belt, if I were to tell you it's easy to pull a bumper
crop I would be lying.

You've been "done" with this thread for 3 pages now.
Yet you know how much of a fool you look like and can't stop
coming back, you even went to look at my grow.. Haha
keep dreaming your "buddddz" looked like mine. One day
when you're out of high school or college if you're a late bloomer
you will realize put downs and cheap shots only hurt yourself.

First class you should take in college is self esteem 101

and my light are cool to the touch.. So why would I need anything more?

Hey, last time I was at the hydro store they gave me a sample of this stuff for free. Has anyone else used this stuff, and do you like it? It says to apply it directly to the roots during a transplant, or to mix it with water and water it in. According to what you are saying about the FFOF, I should use this product (or something similar) so the plants can make the most out of the other stuff that FFOF already has in it? If so do I only need to apply it one time and then a colony will grow or do I need to reapply it at certain intervals? Also is there a way to tell if you have a colony of symbiotic organisms growing and how big/strong of a colony it is?
