Rite on. I'm just using it in veg. Thx for the heads up dude.
I've been trying to deal with this "dud" (stem nematode) bullshit for a few years now. And just recently found out chitosan works So far so good.
That shit has so many beneficial properties, it's crazy.
Oh, can I ask you what ppm you are rockin the chitosan at?
I'm doing 3grams/gal root drench and .75 gram/gallon foliar. Using the chart below for ppm's
100ppm at 4 weeks 200 at 5 weeks .
root drench only .... foliar in veg at 500ppm (2gm per gallon guess my math was off...)
too early in flower has promoted early ripening and strange late growth .... i will try to find some pics ...
too late and my kush strains taste kinda fruity and "diffrent "

Was reading about the asprin helping for the dud(from broadmite and stem nematode) but haven't got there yet. Not even sure how many pills per gal. Do you know? Be your best friend! thx bro
Lots of information. I'm into the mechanisms of things, but most of that information can be found in just about any good grow book. It was helpful to know that using beneficial microflora does help in hydro. I've been wondering about that for a long time. I understand that by adding them, plants don't have to put their energy in to producing exudates that attract them. But who knows how much energy is actually used in producing these exudates?

I just stumbled across this post while researching some other stuff. I wanted to give it a bump, last post was 2015, but this is awesome information backed up with science and links. Best post on beneficial bacteria and fungi I have ever read.
