I'm not sure what you base that on, polls have shown since 2016, Sanders holds a lead over Trump in a general election. More recent polls put Sanders ahead of Biden in a face off against Trump in 2020. Sanders has, by far, the most financial support, all coming from small donors. He just won the Iowa caucus after efforts to minimize the win and alter the results in Buttigieg's favor. He has, again, by far, not even close, the most grassroots support in the game. Probably more than any other political candidate from either party ever. If anyone will defeat Trump, it's Sanders.I will- I'll admit I am not a Bernie fan, but more than anything I want trump out. If Bernie is the guy, I'll vote for him... just not convinced others will.
A very good example of what you say in your post occurred recently in UK. Ahead of the election in fall of last year, an election that had leaving the EU on the line, sentiment was evenly split between those who wanted to leave and those who wanted to remain. Enter Corbyn, the leader of the strongest party to oppose leaving the EU. As reported in a Washington Post article,True, people love a shiny new thing, grass is greener and everything. Until they realize that it is just empty promises and they lose the House and Senate to the Republicans leaving nothing to get done.
FIFYI'm gullible
the only person who polls as well against trump as Biden does is BLOOMBERGI'm not sure what you base that on, polls have shown since 2016, Sanders holds a lead over Trump in a general election. Same goes for the House and Senate. It takes turnout to win. The only candidate promoting turnout is Sanders. If Biden or Buttigieg are the nominee, turnout will be depressed and there's a much lower chance of Democrats winning. With a Sanders win, more people turn out and vote Democratic.
This is yet another case showing Pad's dishonesty. He cites polls that he agrees with and then gives blanket statement that misleads to "win the argument" as if that were something worth losing one's trust over.I'm not sure what you base that on, polls have shown since 2016, Sanders holds a lead over Trump in a general election. The turnout for his last senate election was 55%. If he's so great at getting people to turn out, why couldn't he do it in his own fucking state? It takes turnout to win.
At least he has political experience. What experience did Trump have? It also goes to show it's never too late to improve yourself. Maybe we could all learn from his experience. Bernie is also honest which is hard to find.Bernie Sanders is truly special. He never held a job until he was finally elected mayor at age 53.
What kind of a person never holds a job until they are 53?
an annoying person no one can tolerate.
He lived off of welfare and four different women, had a child out-of-wedlock with one and the three marriages did not work out.
Meanwhile he has millions stashed somewhere else.
In all his years in the Senate, he has introduced 364 bills. 3 passed. Two of those were to name post offices.
He needs to stay where he is and work on naming a Post office after Charles Bukowski.
Crazy Bernie, he really knows how to work the system.

Mistakes were made counting the votes. DNC has ordered a recount. A break down of our voting system. It's happened before and always when it's very close. With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Buttigieg held a narrow lead of 26.2 percent in state delegate equivalents, the traditional metric by which an Iowa winner has been determined. Sanders had 26.1 percent.
Ok, so, really they tied. No big deal except; Bernie's response. Padaraper isn't the only one who isn't facing reality:
Bernie Sanders claims victory in Iowa caucuses
Did you see the small differences? I'm all for accuracy and that is the one job that somebody had in Iowa and he or she flubbed it.Mistakes were made counting the votes. DNC has ordered a recount. A break down of our voting system. It's happened before and always when it's very close.
When you look at the two candidates platform they are very close in details which explains equal interest. Just say it came down to either one getting nominated: who would you choose a sitting President with no political experience or one who actually has experience?
I just had to add a little more after reading Bernie's history on Wiki that your facts may not reflect his career correctly. He graduated from the University of Chicago in 1964 and became Mayor of Burlington in 1981. That's only 17yr gap. He was reelected three times. Then elected to House of Representatives in 1990. He has spent his whole life in politics. At least he has political experience. What experience did Trump have? It also goes to show it's never too late to improve yourself. Sorry, no extra points given for showing up.I just had to add a little more after reading Bernie's history on Wiki that your facts may not reflect his career correctly. Wiki:
Sanders became interested in politics at an early age: "A guy named Adolf Hitler won an election in 1932. He won an election, and 50 million people died as a result of that election in World War II, including six million Jews. So what I learned as a little kid is that politics is, in fact, very important."https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernie_Sanders#cite_note-18[17] In the 1940s, many of his relatives in German-occupied Poland were murdered in the Holocaust.[18]

What about his voting record? He voted against the war in Iraq. A war we are now questioning as necessary. Bernie has been a Senator for 11yr and Warren only five yr. They are very close in agreement as only disagreeing 40 times in this Congress. Let's read on and then decide.Sorry, no extra points given for showing up.
Nothing of note done over 12+ years as Senator. A US Senator is one of the most powerful people in the world and he did nothing with it. Terrible absent rate. What in decade-long record as Senator gives you confidence that he can do a great job as prez? Just showing up doesn't count as experience.
a lot of people a trump rallies too... not sure what your point is. And what channel do you think is showing? Like I said, Bernie supporters are full of themselves and overall just unlikeable- good luck.perhaps this will convince you..? careful, the tv channel you watch, is showing..
Thanks for standing up for truth. Sometimes I feel all alone like my vote won't get counted. If you ever heard him speak you will know how powerful his message is. I can't wait till he gets to my town so I can hear him. He talks as proud as JFK ever did.perhaps this will convince you..? careful, the tv channel you watch, is showing..
