Remember many of the pundits and news people you see on TV make millions a year, much of it in salary, they would get hammered by any Sanders tax plan. Our wallets determine our attitudes and actions on many issues, consciously and or subconsciously.

If he wins the nomination, you'll learn to like old Joe, he used to be the left wing of the democratic party before the Clinton era and identified with working people. The left wing of the party is powerful now and the details of policy are worked out in congress, that's where the real sausage is made. It's the same argument I make with those who support a moderate candidate, let the chips fall where they may and get inline behind the choice, even if the Donkey's pick a mule called Bernie, or an old war horse like Joe.

I've voted for many and held my nose. The job of government to ensure the protections of the diverse is usually my first consideration in a candidate. I see him as more of the same. Irish Catholic milk toast. But I'm an old hippy. Fick Nixon.

How you feel is the only thing that matters just make sure that strong feelings of aversion don't generate strong emotion, skew your perception and adversely affect your judgement, as happens with the Trumpers. Vote democratic even if Bloomberg buys the fucking ticket, at least he's sane. Not to vote, or to vote for Trump would be civic and moral malpractice for any patriot. Country first is not a slogan here, but an proper response to the situation. Mothers used to advise their honeymooning daughters to, "Do it for England", well ya might have to "Do it for America" this time around.

Propaganda isn't just lies. It's also biased cherry picking of media content.
Expect a contested convention. Bernie won't have a majority at that time. He'd better have a large plurality in order to win it by the second round. If not, he's toast.

Honoring the US constitution is usually a good start for a candidate, funny how Trump never got that and apparently neither does his base. Trumpers are single issue voters and don't have a place in a discussion of America's future direction because they are living in a vision of the past that they see as threatened by change. I guess that's why we don't see the Trumper socks and trolls much lately, they don't have anything to say about the future.

I see a much more troublesome future. The same reason the emperor crab became widespread in Japan is why. I see greed as being the defining reason for decisions. Those that rise to the top will be the greediest. Just like viruses. I'll stay on my remote property and duck. Enjoy the ride!

Why do people vote against there own interest. If you make under 85,000 a year have a family with healthcare you are a fool for not voting Bernie. A Trumptard making about 26,000 a year stocking fucking groceries tried to argue this with me today. He lost. And it only took me 3 minutes to own him

A better paradigm might come from psychology and evolution and the rule of 5s, like it takes 5 positive social interactions to make up for one bad one, a rule that applies to cats, bats, dogs and people too. We have minds that are like velcro for nasty things and teflon for the nice things that happen to us. If you are hit by the stick and killed, no more carrots for you! Interestingly humans will work 5 times harder to keep something they already have than to attain something new. So anybody thinking of taxing the rich has their work cut out, human nature 101 Evolution innovates and modifies more than invent things and the human brain is like a layer cake that reflects its evolutionary history, this rule of 5 applies to many aspects of our consciousness.

People will vote for a variety of reasons, the Trumpers for instance, logic doesn't play a big part in people's motivation most of the time! People are not logical creatures, they are driven by feelings and an interplay of thinking and emotion all wound together. We are also products of our past, our conditioning, also a part of communities and this can sway our perception too.
