We need someone totally different than another politician. Someone that`s new to it, no favors owed, no knowledge of the norm, some outside Joe with no experience with enough money to campaign. Where do you find a guy like that ? He will no doubt have to pick a Cabinet accordingly and not favorably. Works for you and me better that way.

Handing off the prohibition whip from the Feds to the states might get Bernie a few more suckers.

Yet, states don't have rights anymore than the Feds do.

Individual people have rights.

No political body, big or small has any right to tell an individual what he/she can ingest or grow, etc. Who the fuck are these people that think they own other people?

Bull shit!

A majority in some poles support legalization. Is it legal?

Anybody in their right mind knows it shouldn't be on Schedule 1 where Nixon had it put.

And corporations have more rights than individuals. The whole politcal system is run on bribery from lobbiests. And the "individual rights" have been eroding faster than a beach in a hurricane.

And the founding fathers spin like lathes in their graves...

Individual rights are a dream. Corporate rights are the in thing now. Fuck the little guy...he's just collateral damage in the way of profits. This isn't the late 1940's or '50's or '60's or' 70's anymore...this is the modern era.

If it was up to me, Bernie Sanders would run against Rand Paul. Not that one guy can change much, but the mainstream candidates all support the status quo.

Individual rights get squashed by big money.

You're 100% right. So now what? Vote for someone like Bernie, that's what! Fight! Or they win by default.

You're fucking beyond naive if you think that anyone who ever holds that office won't owe favors.

Check his record he works both sides of the aisle, head of many committees which passed important legislation most notably Vet Bill
Dude I don't even (necessarily) have a problem with Sanders. If he gets the nomination, fine. But you need to realize that the world isn't going to change if he wins. HE'S JUST ANOTHER FUCKING POLITICIAN. Who cares who he's worked with in the senate. The game is completely different on a national level. Wake up, man.

People are setting themselves up for another disappointment if they think a career politician is going to change the way things are done in DC.
