best bug repellent?

i was just curious if anyone would know of the best bug repellent? i heard that a very small amount of dish soap in a spray bottle works. but id rather goto a canadian tire to find a good repellent that will not harm my plants in anyway but also keep the bugs from eating my leaves thanks any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are trying to go as close to organic as possible? If thats the case I'm lost. However, I know of a few chemical spray concentrates that work really well, even outside. Bonide complete fruit tree concentrate is safe enough to use on edibles, so why not on your plants. I think you just stop using a few wks. before harvest.

i have a citronella plant in my cabinet and keeping your grow area clean is a big part, i love my shop vac. but i have a can of raid garden spray that i'm not afraid of using as long as the girls aren't to far into flowering.

grow rooms are never clean or bug free or fungal spore free unless your intake is 100% clean which i doubt it. as for bug pest's well as to which ones well ladybirds or lady bugs as the yanks call it help a lot with aphids or money spiders eat what we call pest in a grow room or use an organic pest control or if not get one specific for your problem and can be used on tomatoes then it can be used on ya plants. wiping the leaves with a damp sponge underneath and ontop to get as much of spidermites off

I've heard good things about garlic... personally I'm going to try this idea I have of making tea with massive amounts of garlic and a bit of red chilli pepper then strain this and put it in a spray bottle which I will then keep handy just in case bugs try messin with my plants.... definitely staying away from any and all chemicals though

neem oil ........

I'm using Ortho ecosense 3 in 1 rose formula with pretty good results. Just check the weather and make sure it isn't going to rain for the next few days before you apply. Also, make sure you don't use it in direct sunlight. I made that mistake and it damaged a few leaves. Nothing major, but a few of them look kind of waxy now.

I ve been alternating between neems oil one week and insecticide soap the next, so far so good no aphids, whitflies or spider mites...the god damn bud worms come later in the year so I hope it stops them.
