You suggested sheet metal, and I got to thinking flashing that's used on roofs would probably work to cut gasket material. I know that shits cut me a few times.

should have went with bulkheads instead of what @Airwalker16 recommends in uniseals. they leak. all the time.

I agree uniseals were a pain from the get go because I looked at the hole size chart wrong
Drilled 2 3/4 holes instead of 3" Can't start a hole that big without a pilot bit, so I got my torch out and got the 3" bit hot and melted a 3" hole over the 2 3/4 hole. I rarely make mistakes like that and give myself plenty of shit over it when I do. Anyway..... I have a little of both going on, 5 gallon buckets and 27 gallon totes. I'm not aware of a bulkhead that fits a 5 gal. Does that exist?BTW.... I noticed at Costco the other day that they have the same looking 27 gallon totes as the hdx totes that a lot of people use. The lid seemed to latch better and they were only 6 or 7 bucks. Thinking about going back and getting 10 or so.

Mine sure haven't. If you just do it right, you'll have a very extremely tight fitting connection, man. You know uniseals are specifically made for curved surfaces?

I was warned a few years ago that bulkhead won't work on round buckets, never gave it a second thought. Cool to see that can be done.

Saw this at Harbor Freight today. What's the diameter of the threads on those 2" Conduit adapters? I know there's some in this kit that will surely fit the 1-1/2" ones. @fragileassassin I may have found your answer. They're O-Rings, granted, but tight enough down, I'm almost sure they would work, right? Especially the 1-7/16" to 1-11/16".
