Best CFL s for veg and flowering+ rep

I been a long time grower, faithful to my hps setups but for thinking. About starting a cfl grow on the side. Just to experment.
My question is what is the specifics as far as spectrum,Wattage ect For veg and flowering?? Witch are the best for both? Any help would be greatly appreciated and earn some rep

how many plants u going to grow
2750 spectrum for flower and 6500 spectrum for veg but u can use both spectrums together
cfls put off less heat and u can put them within inches of plant they are available in lots of wattage choices
your ? is kind of vague do u have specific ?'s or a design for a grow that u want advice on
be more then happy to help i started with cfls but now i do mh/hps
check out the indoor grow forum they have a cfl sub forum

Thanks for the info dude, I am planning on doing like 8. And I want to Try to do the setup in a small space, like 3, maybe 4 rubbermaid tubs stacked, I'll have it well ventilated and temp controlled, of course I want to try to have a nice bushy mass in their. What wattage would you suggest? I want to try to have as much wattage As I can, without compromising heat control in their.

i started out with the rubbermaids and got one still running i had to put a hermie in lol
u can do 6 1 gallon pots in a double stack 27 gallon running 8- 27 watters
is it going to be in a airconditioned room
and get biggest fans u can get

in my opion i think that the best cfl's are a combination of a day white and a cool white. using the 2 together from everything i have read and tried creates the optimum spectrum of light to grow. and getting the brightest wattage money will allow would be best. i have grown under tube flouresents for a while before switching and the combinitation was what worked best for me

i agree and i run both in my grow room but when u have limited space for bulbs like i rubbermaid u got to maximize the best spectrum for plant stage
what i mean is u cant get many bulbs in that space so i stick with 6500 for veg and 2750 for flower but u are correct i just didnt mention it because he said rubbermaid glad u brought it up

oh so nice when people see things the same way. weather we are right or wrong still nice to see i am not alone...lol....but i hope someday you can have some more room and realy crank up your lights and get a few more bulbs...lol

hey man we do more good getting along and were u referring to him having more room or me ? if me im out of rubbermaids got 2 rooms 3x4 and 8x3 all hps lights

i thought you said you could only fit so many in your tote. nice areas. i have a 10x10 room but i only use a few feet of it. as my plants grow and the operation gets moving enough to need it i will expand it. but sometimes bigger is not always better. in some cases

no i told him 6 1 gallon pots would fit but they get crowded the only rubbermaid i got now running is a freaking hermie i wanted to finish because it was topped and i will get a ounce or two off it and i picked the pollen sacs off
i did the add on too it grew to 2 rooms a total of 12 x 3 hey this hobby grows on you lol btw repped if i didnt already i like the way u talk makes sense
