My first true alaskan grow i can follow super duper! I always wondered how farmers up there dealt with the light issues. Thanks for such a diligent thread.

Yes pH is a perfect 6.5 the water going in also is a perfect 6.5.

hmm ok, maybe some boron deficiency. it's hardly available at 6.5 and lacks in some soils anyway. but maybe you can post a shot of the whole plant

okay here is a picture of the whole plant through a little research I think I may have figured out what it is.

It looks a hell of a lot like a calcium deficiency which if I were sitting at below 6.4 on my pH this would make sense, but I'm not showing any early signs of calcium deficiency and it's sisters in the same pots same soil mixture in the same place in the garden are not showing the same signs as this one.
I did read about something called rust mold or rust fungus have you ever heard of this or seen it before I can't seem to find any pictures of what a rest mold look like but when I look at these leaves it looks like it could've been caused by some sort of a fungus.

The special kush did everything first last year, sprouted first, grew the fastest, preflowered first, flowered first and finished first and the biggest in 15G root pouch. Also blew over a bunch of times lol, so is in the ground this year. Only potted plants are autos.
A couple of lite frosts at the end of the season isn't really an issue imo as long as the next day is sunny. Usually it is because a clear nite is usually what brings an early frost.
How long are your days right now?

Queen #1...my favorite...and yes they will grow big...keep topping them out to keep them short and bushy.

Try a triple action fungicide on them...helps with fungus...insects and mites.If you decide not to spray leave the spiders on the plants as they will eat other insects.

it could be rust fungus but check closely with very good microscope for russet mites too. hard to see them with x30. sulphur burn during veg works nice

well doesn't look like rust fungus or how u call it to me. we have this rust fungus at chestnuts and roses:

I thought I should let y'all know how we water our plants here in these cold climates. It is very important to try to keep the root mass warm, even when the air temperatures get cold if the root mass is warm it will keep the plants from going into shock and keep it growing. I put in a three hundred gallon tank that is painted green, I think the color green helps keep the proper temperature with the sun shining on it for 20 hours a day it won't get too hot. Every plant in the garden is watered with the water from this tank.

Thank you guys for your help on the problem I had with the Mistry seeds it turns out it was a calcium deficiency I fixed it with Cal mag and they appear to be doing much better now.

I I took these pics on June 28 of the northern lights autos, the limbs started to stretch and the plants made it to about 22 inches tall and so I bent everyone of them over to expose the bottom limbs.

A this is also a sweet idea for a cheap mini hoophouse type of boosting. Im going to wrap some up next week but leave the bottoms open.

All right folks weekly update on the northern lights, mine are all a little slower and behind schedule from other peeps, I'm at day 63 and finally having some signs of flowering. I think that it is probably because of my cooler temps that they are moving slower, they are healthy and growing very good just taking longer to get there..

The OG Kush autos are looking fairly well two at about 30 days now these I have kept in the greenhouse to see if it makes any difference.

The master Kush are looking like they're going to be ready for the second cages here pretty soon. These guys are still going strong have never had to do any pest-control on them like the autos, they are just very strong, a very good plant for this climate.

So I finally made it home after 3 weeks at work, I spent the last few days weeding, trimming and feeding my girls. My master Kush are still doing fantastic, when other plants in the garden were having problems with bugs temperature etc. the Kush were thriving.

The northern lights autos have been a battle the hole time with bugs, if it crawls for some reason it wants to eat these things. I don't know if it is just my lack of experience with these autos but it seems they are not doing what they're supposed to do and definitely not in the time they're supposed to do it. All in all the plants are very tall strong and healthy looking but the buds are tiny and slow to mature.

The OG Kush autos are doing much better than the northerns in the green house environment.

And last but not least the Nirvana Mistry seeds are now thriving once adding Cal mag to their diet.
