McCormick is claiming he got out of fed prison early! Is this even possoble if you dont rat?You want AKBB DP. Only way to go. Read Deal.... McCormick sold out long ago.
McCormick had a lot of politically connected friends from way back when. This is the guy who was growing in that Bel-Air mansion after all. He was caught with 4000+ medical plants. That story made world news so I'm guessing there would have been at least a little politic or optics involved. Its hard to get out of federal prison. I cant say he ratted, because I dont know.
I did everyday of my time.
Nice looking bush man!I defoliated and she blew up
Responding to my own post just to update this one...here is this version of "Durban Poison" ( Dutch Passion) at a few days short of 6 weeks of flowering. Bristling with bright white and orange pistils as well as resin-clad calyxes sporting purple and burgundy colors. A minty anise scent is by far the first thing you smell if you stick your nose into a bud, with other fruity aromas slowly coming out. Small evergreen-colored fan leaves are evidently all this needs to make a very nice candelabra-shaped bush of long and dense 2" diameter end buds. Very low maintenance one it starts to flower as far as fan leaf removal, and no problems with self-shading. I like this strain quite a bit so far, and really hope the high and taste are as nice as the veg and flowering performance. 2+ more weeks of this is going to be fun to watch!just started the 12 hr days on March 03.
How so? Durban Poison is just the name that was given to a hybrid made from a Durban sativa and an indica. Sensi just calls theirs Durban. Its an old article but very telling that Sensi's Durban has been trash for a long time.
Have you grown Sensi Durban? Or did you just get this warning based off of what you read on that website you linked to? If you haven't grown it then you really can't warn people based on something you heard. That's just third party information and how rumors get started.I didn't post that as an endorsement of Dutch passion but rather a warning against sensi seeds.
Both now just have mass produced Spain made seeds. God only knows what the true genetics are in those beans.
This is exactly how I feel about this. Thanks for this thoughtful post.If you haven't grown it then you really can't warn people based on something you heard. That's just third party information and how rumors get started.
I didnt read any of your post. If you grew it and liked it cool. How so? Durban Poison is just the name that was given to a hybrid made from a Durban sativa and an indica. Sensi just calls theirs Durban.
What do you have other than what you read on that website to backup your "Trash" claim?

And as far as mass produced seeds. The same thing is going on in the US. Mass production of seeds. I can guarantee that a lot of the stuff people are paying top dollar for from some of the US outfits are the same seeds being sold under different names. And as far as Spain goes there are some excellent outfits operating over there. ACE and Cannabiogen come to mind. The breeders from these outfits were probably breeding cannabis before you were even born.
And there is no way that you can know what's in the genetics from breeders outside of Spain. They can say anything they want. That's why I don't put any faith in articles promoting one company over another as they are typically biased and have some kind of reason to promote one company over another. More often than not the reason is financial.
I've grown Sensi Durban and it was not trash. That's first hand information. In fact I've used it in a hybrid cross I made using the Durban and ACE PCK. Sensi Durban was definitely top shelf product. But as always the end result is going to depend on the grower. One growers trash can be anothers fire.
Here's a Sensi Durban I grew and pollinated with ACE PCK pollen
.
Here's an F3 of that cross.
There is nothing wrong with Sensi Durban. It's not trash. You really shouldn't just repeat things you read online without having anything other than the webpage to prove your claims. I don't care if it is a 15 year old article from cannabis culture magazine. The exception would be scholarly articles based on science and peer reviewed with links to sources and corroborating information.
It seems to be popular these days to bash all the European breeders that have been around for decades while praising some stoner in the US that chucked some pollen, made some Cherry Grape Space Monkey Kush, put up a website, and is now selling seeds for $20 a pop.
