I use the big moving/storage cardboard boxes. Poke a bunch of 1/2" size holes 4" or so apart all around the box' sides.
I then, run some strings across the top of the inside of the box about 3-5" down. 4 or 5 strings per box.
Then I take 3 stalks and tie them together at the bottoms. I do ths several times, maybe 20 bundles of 3. Hang them upsidedown on the strings and close the box lid. I place in a dark room with a fan directed towards the plant at about 10' away. I usually takes 5 days box drying, then they go into sealed ceramic jars. The buds will rehydrate themselfs slightly from the moisture still in the center of the bud and stem. Open the jars once a day for an hour to let any unwanted moisture out. Re-seal. I do this for a week and a half. Then the buds are good for smoking and storage. Be patient and it'll pay off.
