Best Germination Technique?

Okay so I got my basic setup ready to go now all I need to do is Germinate my seeds. They are feminized joint doctor Lowryder Seeds, I have looked up Germination and I have seen two methods that seem credible to me. The first method involves Placing the seed in a cup of fresh water and letting it sit for a day in the dark. Then keeping it in the cup of water and moving it to a warm area. The second method involves placing the seed in a damp paper towel and letting it sit in a cool dark area. Which method is best? Do you guys know of any other methods? After this I will have no more questions and be starting my journal on my first grow.
Thanks bongsmilie

Heres how i germed my seeds and ive not heard it before, get a some coco( about a jiffy 3inch cubes worth) get it wet like you do, not soaked, ( it most probly would work soaked coz it holds air well) but just dont its bad practice.....lol.. Put it in a plastic bag nice and loose should feel nice wen you put ur hand in, not like giving birth to a cow...lol.. Im stoned...... Then get ur seeds ( best out of fridge"24 hrs"... It tricks the muppets into thinkin winters over... And kind of put em all in the middle (of coco)as best you can and put in warm place i used a heated propagater, but a nice warm place should do, iff its cold ur pissin in the wind, needs to be warm, and after 24 hours have a sneeky look and iff you see the shoot ( you should coz i plantin about 12 after 24 hours ) put in in ur chosen medium about a little fingernail deep ( i did) the others should germinate too just check 12 hours later, and so on. Hope this helps, im no expert but i figured i was drwowing em with the papertowel and plastic method, so fort as long as there damp and can get some air too they should work, and they did,, woop woop..

the way for me is to put the seed in a small cup of distilled water and place it in a dark warmish area...
...once the seed sinks or the shell cracks, I'll place the seed in a starter cube.. whalah!
