Best Hours for 12/12?

I'm trying to disrupt high humidity and temperature patterns that vary throughout the day. What time should my lights come on and turn off? Right now I have 11pm to 11am, lights on. But during lights off, my humidity goes up. This is my problem. I'm thinking about changing to 7am on to 7pm off. What light schedule have you stuck with the most? Would you want lights on during the day, or night? Thanks. Obviously, this is for a flowering tent.

you'll get humidity what ever time your light go on and off, try watering just before your lights go on, keep your fans on when lights are out, get a small dehumidifier and pass the fresh air entering the room through that

Best time to have lights on is when you're home and awake. I like having my plants in dark when I'm sleeping. No issues with RH due to my desert location. Yeah, a small dehumidifier would work out good. I wish had a bit RH during veg, it's rough on my plants with 20% < RH and they use a lot of water.

I run mine from 5pm to 5am I like being home while the lights are on.
It can be slightly cooler to run them at night.
My electricity is cheaper during off peak hours, not by much but i'll take what i can get.

Not sure about out side the uk,but electric is cheaper to run at night,so that is one reason that I do night, but the main reason is in colder, months.Temps are cooler at night, than during the day same with summer, you will find its a tad cooler at night.

I have all ways run my lights for the past few years from 9/9 ,but I'm superstitious if I ain't got a certain program on my planner I take it has bad luck, magpies in ones bad luck in less I salute them and spit ,crazy I know but I have a ways been like it .

i like the rh to be about 60% in my veg tent, and 40 in my flower tent. i run a small cool mist humidifier in the veg tent to achieve that. easier to humidify a small tent than dehumidify a whole house.

I run mine through the night. What do you consider is high humidity
40% sounds great but I have never seen rh that low here inside or outside the tent.
I would like to stay at 45% or 50%, and over 55% to me is too high, because the mold will jump on my crop in no time, before I know it. So I'm always keeping a close watch on humidity. I did get a nice dehumidifier. I set it up where fresh air is coming in the tent, straight into the intake of the dehumidifier like @bobtokes said.
Now at lights off, I'm at 78° and 49% RH. The dehumidifier creates some heat. I unplug the dehumidifier during lights on, and inside remains 78° and 50%. While outside its constantly 50-65% RH.

So the dehumidifier makes as much heat as my light (200w Cree cxb). Which isn't a problem since they aren't on at the same time. Seems a little hot during lights off with the dehumidifier running though. I leave both my fans on 24/7 (exhaust and circulation)

Imo your humidity isn't high enough to worry. Mine goes into the 70% range and I've never had issues.

Run the dehumidifier outside the tent to help keep temps down.
