best (HPS) 400w with a cool tube on it?

Cool tubes are basically a hood, with that said. You can mix and match any system you like. I would go with a digital lumatek, might as wel get a 600.

I would purchase a digital ballast that is 600 watt rather then 400. Buy a super hps bulb made by hortilux, use a cool tube that is all round glass, they come with a reflector. Biggest buds come from 1000w systems, even with 4 plants I recondmend nothing but a 1000w. Ask your local grow shop about poly shield or check out there website at polyshield.ca. This stuff blocks the F.L.I.R technology. Can't bust what you don't see. Install a charcoal filter to block all the smell. Have the filter in the room with a fan on it that goes to the light and then out of the room. Can be used to heat the house

correct me if im wrong any1 but a 430 watt is basicaly a 400watt but with a extra 30watt of power in the blue spectrum? the colour that is used in veg stage. if your going to get 1 light for flower and veg use the 430watt and it just works off a 400watt ballest not sure why its just made for them

I have a 400 mh/hps set up one ballest switches to hps from mh, veg with mh and flower with hps and i have my first real grow on now just started to flower and that is working but i have not seen what i will yeild from this grow of 4 plants

I have a 400w HiLux HPS. Worm's Way(company) actually sold that one to me over the Hortilux which is almost $20 MORE. The HiLux puts out more lumens also. They said that all of the 400w customers who had tried the HiLux said they prefer it over the Hortilux, and not just because of the money saving. Supposedly they last a bit longer also. As for the cool tube, chech Pyrex bake-a-round tube on ebay. I picked up two of them for around $30 with shipping. If not, there are some links for some sort of glass candle holders somewhere around here...
