Best Humidifier?

Well here's my situation. I have 1 plant. a month into veg. Its in a 3' x 3' room that is covered in plastic to keep moisture in.

The room is very sensative to climate change, seeing as its so small.

For the last month I've had a "Warm Mist" humidifier going in there, but with the plant getting bigger, I'm starting to worry about burning it (warm mist is actually just hot steam)

So I went to the store and got a "cool mist" humidifier... well I won't burn it, but it's definitely gonna get a cold (not cool... cold) breeze every few seconds... now I'm risking freezing it...

My questions are:
1. Is there an alternative type that produces room temp mist?
2. If not, would I be better with the steam, or cold mist.

I grow in the Mojave desert. My humidity runs below 20% most of the time and I've often been below 10% in the summer. My plants don't really suffer so why add another variable if you don't have to. Even my hothouse flowers (as I refer to mine after seeing @doublejj 's), are fine where they are at. Why not go a couple days without added humidity and see how you look. That is simply another option.

While it may be true that our favourite plant grows fine in most conditions, giving it what it wants will always result in a slightly better grow.

Of course 90% of it comes down to strain and genetics, keeping a proper temp/humidity can increase the potency of your bud a bit.

Its the sole reason I have a dedicated room for this little one, intead of just throwing him in the back garden :P It's one of the pros of growing indoor.

It all comes down to personal preference really. Since I'm not growing in quantity, I wanna try and make the stuff I grow, the best I've smoked. Consider it an experiment :P

Though the low humidity of the desert would help during the final few weeks of flowering. I can see why growing in a desert would be beneficial as well. Again all personal preference, as long as the plant is healthy.

Some growers lower their humidity intentionally a couple weeks before harvest, which is supposed to premote the plant to make resin on the outside, sealing thc on the inside of the bud. (Haven't tried this yet, but I imagine a desert does the same thing)

Oops sorry, posting in the newbies section I assumed you did not need another variable to be concerned about. How about some porn? I just harvested these in my humidity compromised environment, haha. Enjoy your grow however you do it.

Yeah, its been a long time since I've grown anything, so I feel myself technically a noob, though an experienced noob (if such a thing exists)

Yeah Barnbuster, that is an issue with most inexpensive humidifiers. Although if you leave your water sitting for 24 hours before filling the humidifier, a lot of that disappears. Another solution is to use distilled water if you're growing money trees beside your pot xD although if money isn't an issue, then most filtered humidifiers will solve that, so dont bother with buying distilled water xD keep the filter clean and change when needed, that's all I do, and no white powder!
