Best hydro system thoughts suggestions?

I'm planning on growing this summer once I get out of school for the summer move from a dorm room into a house. I would like to hear growers thoughts on what hydro system they like to use / what would be most practical? I'm thinking right now about a Flood drain system that I could build myself thanks to years of horticulture classes and Hightimes magazine. However Do you think an Nutrient film system or drip/ sprinkler system ( I hear aeroponic systems are best but are much to expensive for me) would be better for growing pot in a smaller room such as a large walk in closet?

I've never seen one like Johnny is talking about. I use a Stinkbud system and nothing could be easier to use and it's very effective. Also, I built it myself.

You really need to define what you mean by "best".

Because I agree with you that a flood and drain (which I currently use) couldn't be much simpler or easy; that being said, after this next crop, I'm going to build a DIY Vertical Coli (as someone mentioned above), as they're a more efficient and effective growing system.

For your first system, though, can't imagine anything easier than E&F.
