Best led for 2x4

Here's a question: would I need to supplement co2 in a 2x4 with the HLG 350 Diablo, even if dimmed? I don't have to do that now with my crumby light so taking as a consideration.

Welp, I went ahead and ordered the HLG 350 Diablo. It says it's got a 2 week lead time, and I just entered week 3 of flower, so it might be too late to really see the difference. It'll be replacing a 200w AC Infinity board in my 2x4 though, exciting times.

Call them tomorrow and let them know where you're at and ask them if they might be able to help. They've done everything possible to help and often I've had a 2 week lead time when I bought but got shipping the next day before I had time to even call them! So it's worth asking.

Hear me out.... and this is based on my ownership and working experience with tents.

Spider-farmer 2.3'x4.6' with two FC-E3000 at 75% or
Vivosun 32"x60" with two FC-E3000 at 75%

just my take, thats a solid build and a very reasonable and economical footprint.

I've had 4x4's. I still have one, but I hate working in it. And on the other hand, 2 feet doesn't allow for very wide plants.

They don't make something like a 3x6.... so I think the "oversized" 2x4 style tents are quite awesome in my opinion.

I returned my 4x8 and have decided to run both of those two tents above, alongside a 4x4.

I've seen people run the FC-E3000 in a 2x4 as well, it's slightly overkill for sure but not my too much.

I already have shipping before I was able to call, I might get to run it some before this season ends.

I grew this under their Scorpion Diablo X. I use the 350s for veg although I am going to do a run under two of them in their 5x5 to compare them to my main flowering lights. Cannarado White Papaya
BTW if you want to follow some of the guys with really nice grows running the HLG 350s you can see what @J2M3S and @Laughing Grass are up to.

If you want to see how HLG's new Tomahawk's lights are @shnkrmn is rocking those.

Finally j2 and I also run HLG's Scorpion Diablo X. I'm currently remodeling my grow so I'm barely functional now but J2 is rocking it.

Should have mentioned them earlier but I was high, smoking that pot I posted, oops

I’m thinking for going for the spiderfarmer, I’ve been hearing that the already is super nice and even. How is the light for depth penetration if anyone has experience with it?

I should have updated. I had shipping Monday morning and the light by Wednesday at noon. I've been running it since then and WOW is it much brighter at comparable settings and it spreads the light MUCH more evenly. I'm still trying to kind of get a figure for the setting to put it on. Much higher than 6 and it gets a little warm, and I'm following the guidance of leaving it 15" from the ceiling of the tent, and I have a fan pointed at the driver but it's a crappy little fan. I may need to try a bigger fan if I want to turn it up much more.

One thing: I replaced my 200w AC Infinity QB, but I also had their supplemental lighting bars vertically on the tent corner bars and I wasn't able to tie these together the way I was able to before, so I've lost these for the time being, but I feel like their way less necessary now that I have a much better coverage. What I don't want to lose is overall light output though, so I'm trying to measure how to get back to about where I was, without putting off too much heat.

I know about how much wattage I was using with the old light, and I've got an estimate for the wattage I'm using on the new light- or is that not an apt comparison? If I have more questions, I'll start my own light thread and not further jam someone else's up.

Thanks again for the help on my light journey!

Start at 1 and slowly work your way up LOL. Start a grow journal and then tag @Laughing Grass or myself, who run the 350. We both have PPFD meters and can tell you with how far away from the plants your PPFD is at x% dimming
