Hi people, I have done a couple grows using a Prakasa 300w LED... I have found it to be ok, but now I am looking to add another light and I have been reading that you have to spend a little more to get good quality LED grow lights. So I have seen the Magnum 357 plus and the penetrator 126x. Both have good results, but I am still very unsure of where to spend my money. If any one with experience could shed some light on this I would be very grateful. Thanks

^^^ fero or area 51, many good brands out there but I can only speak for what I use and have had success with ... I like Kessil for side-lighting too but I wouldnt use them as only source of light.

that run yielded 12oz 12/12 from seed and I upgraded the light halfway not always using full power so basically I can't tell you an accurate gram per watts ... and otherwise I simply dont keep track of what I yield I am after quality. I don't usually weigh mine.. lol I got five, 2L Jars full off of 439W.... probably 8oz of really nice buds, and I use the rest for oil, probably another 3-4oz.... If you count my popcorn and lessers, I'd say between 11-14oz. 308g - 392g, or .701gpw - .892gpw. I had some over fertilization problems early on, and my friend fucked my crop while I was on vacation due to a shitty pH meter. Could have been better, I'm going to do a 2-3 plant scrog with the same light next go around. I want to break 1gpw.

I like apollo. I cant comprehend spending $1500 on 600 watts. It cost $720 for 2 apollo10s 150 x 3 w 360 watts each.. Not saying the more expensive light wont do good. A 3 year warranty os enough for me. In 3 years im going to want an upgrade anyway. Who knows how long any of these companies will be around. They get bought sold all the time. Green coast hydro is in the process of acquiring california light works. Discount hydro owns most of the industry. Quantum and dyna have been sold 2 or 3 times.

look on you tube mh bulbs vs led you will see the difference , the led plants look slimy thin, the mh bulbs nice green fat , also ive seen as much an an inch in one day ! 1000 watt mh sun master , if you want profit dont mess with led . EVERY THING IS POST IS FULL OF CRAP false statements , hope this helps

Yeah I haven't heard anything about this(CLW is doing quite well) around...........The only shit that went down recently is Stealth Grow led (phototron/ lol remember those crappy grow chambers from back in the day puff???) bought Greners.com and Urban Garden Supplies/ well their goes the unbiased reviews from them

I was at green coast and they had a 400 w solarstorm led and tent set up and I was asking about their pricing on it and one of the owners told me to wait on it because once they acquire the company they can give me a better deal and not have to pay out to another company. It hasn't happened yet. Discount hydro owns xtreme led and used to own part of one of the stealth led companies. I forget which is which, they traded their shares for another. I meant they own most of the hydroponic industry, discount hydro owns c.a.p. and r&m supply and about 50 other companies under c.a.p and r&m.... quantum, maxlume, ushio, solis tek, digilux, ona, dyna grow, part of botanicare, etc....
DH always seems to acquire companies in financial trouble or just in debt to DH. Thats how they got Quantum. The owner and the GM told me about that one. GC is probably following their lead. They are each others major competition.
