Hi All. I am wondering the best way or method to trim bud about a pound dry. I have been looking into the twister t6, the risentek i saw on amazon which gets good reviews and the trimbag. Any thoughts on any of these. I am worried about the noise with the twister. I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

A comfortable work space. More comfy chair, padding to rest elbows on, full cooler or mini fridge, loud enough quality sound system, a good friend or two, 2 pairs of good shears each, 2 bottles of acetone, rags, a container to hold extra shears until replaced by sticky ones, and about an ounce of ready to smoke for motivation or mental flatulence.

Nothing beats hand trim. 001.jpg

If we're both vaccinated. :eyesmoke: I have one son currently in CA & my daughter in RI that'd be happy to help but that's not practical. My good friend here has had some bad strokes so I wouldn't even ask him. He gets whatever he needs from me & likewise he has always been good to me.

So that leaves me to trim what I hope to be about 24 zips in the white walled 4 X 8 grow room in 30 minute stretches of time (caregiver). I painted the walls ultra white because the mylar was driving me insane. I didn't like cutting & hanging with the annoying mylar up. One half of my room is my work space. Room for 1 (4 x 4). Since the odor must be contained, that's where I'll have to camp. Probably setup wifi intercom for my wife.

Did someone here say they used a Dremel tool with a short thread from a weed whacker? I'll try anything. The "waste" won't be wasted since all of the trim will processed with a Source Turbo for extracts.

A little off topic - I'm going to learn how to cook & bake so I expect much of the extract to ironically go to waste in the end but I will have accurate measures of my mistakes. Sometimes mistakes are my hobby.

Assuming the not for bag appeal as you appear. I would do a close wet trim. Nothing fancy or detailed. Slow dry for a good 10 -12 days in dark around 60-65F with slow air. Jar and burp until a bit over dry. Genlty brush buds with fingers. Sugars fall right off. And the trimmings will kick start your culinary career.

Health and comfort.
