Best organic nutrients for vegging and flowering? +rep

I'm looking into organics cause im tired of burning my girls. What mixture should I use for vegging? Bat guano has good NPK for vegging but im not sure if i should use goat manure or duck manure for flowering. And if i want to buy this nutrients, where could i?

Dude, what i've been using on my gardens (yes real gardens, not my girls) and that i'm going to use on my girls is AACT or Aerated compost tea...it's fucking amazing! What you gotta keep in mind when growing in soil is...you gotta keep the mycorrhiza and all our fuzzy soils friends happy. I don't like to use all that comercial crap! All you gotta do is use natural things...bat guano is an awsome start. I'd go for a good natural soil mix like the one's seen on this site (in example https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/338384-2010-revised-super-soil-recipe.html which is awsome if you could get ahold of everything it needs). Then i'd sprinkle my girls and their soil with some good Aerated Compost Tea, which will do wonders for you. Try and avoid manure, i won't say it's bad...but just try and avoid it...use vermicompost or worm castings if you're not up to the whole super soil mix and the AACT! Cheers!

Yeah I agree with Mr.Sativa, actively aerated compost teas are great, but they are not nutrients. They help the microbes make nutrients available, and a healthy microherd makes for healthy soil.

Subcools supersoil is good, just add water and molasses. If you are looking for fertilizers there are many choices, kelp meal, guanos (which can be both high N and high in P), EWC, to name a few... If you want to purchase bottled nutes, try Canna's bio line, it's ORMI.

what does everyone think about age old organics? I just recently switched to it, seems to be doing it's job. Before aoo i used ff.

Alright I'll try out some compost tea. Is they're anyway to get worm casting from your own compost? I have some worms in my compost outside and they've been breaking everything down pretty fast. But I think I need some help with nutrients, what manure or meals would you use for vegging or flowering?

how do you guys feel about General Organics? I'm thinking about going organic for future soil grows(while using smart pots/supersoil). The grow/bloom, diamond black, bio roots, bio weed.

If im gonna do organic, i wanna use something less commercials and doesn't burn my plants. Ive been looking into other nutrients like Jacks classic plant food, nobody ever has problems with this solution and it seems pretty easy to use.

Yeah I've used Jack's Classic all season on all my plants.. None burned and all vigorous and healthy. I picked up (2) 4lb tubs of their classic duo blend and it worked great. Not knocking organics though, that stuff is awsome. But I totally aggree with your statement... "Screw the $30.00 pints of advertised bullshit!" Great organic compounds can be manifested yourself without having to pay all this money for fancy pictured bottles of crap from the hydro stores. Stick to old school, and keep the dollars in your pocket. Don't support your hydro store, support your grow.

the additives are awesome, i use the fish, seaweed, humc acid, and make guano tea with all that plus molasses

I don't currently grow but I am interested in learning about organic growing. I read about an organic nutrient on here called medione, apparently its a "one part, start to finish, all natural nutrient" (quoted from their website) crazeyhazey, maybe this would work for you?? and has anyone ever tried this nutrient??

ive never trusted one part lines... plants have different nutrient needs at different times, if you use it definitely post your thoughts on it

I agree with mr sativa, aerated compost teas are great. If you are looking for a nutrient line, maybe earth juice, theirs is pretty good. However, you can make your own and better with the aerated teas. All sorts of things can go into it, and I think variety is better than just finding something that meets your npk needs. what I mean is, lets say you find some guano that was 6-2-5 or something and you wanted to use it for vedge, in my opinion adding more things adds to the diversity of vitamins, hormones and auxins. I like to use alfalfa meal, especially in vedge. it releases a lot of vitamins and amino acids as well as tricholine, a growth hormone for plants. Other things that are good are of course earth worm castings, guano (both bat and bird), mollasses, blood meal, kelp meal, cottonseed meal, fish emulsion, fish bone meal,superthrive, rock phosphate, etc. You can even start to tailor your ingredients on whether it will promote bacterial growth or fungal growth depending on if its for a vedging or blooming plant. And your flavor in the end, well thats all you..... a lot of times peoples strains all taste the same in part because they all use the same nutes, but you can bring out different elements of flavor and scent using organic nutes, and how you make your tea is like a flavor signature for your buds....

oh, but finding good sources of potassium-K will be the hard part, aside from molasses that is, always easy to find nitrogen and phosphorus and micros

I concur... actively aerated compost teas are incredible... and General Organics is great if you need a simple yet customizable organic system. super soil is the way to go but if you dont have the time then GO Box all the way! use both together for lovely results

I'm currently doing a hydro grow with medi-One and I haven't seen much on here about it so I'll start a tread for my grow and let those who are interested know how Medi-One works.

I use General Organics with great results. Its an amazing kit for any beginner especially. You can buy the GO box for just over 30 dollars and i tcontains the entire line of products (8 products) and its all the nutes you will need to complete a grow of 4-8 plants. Again, especially for a first timer or somebody still gettin the hang of it.

I am using a tea made from worm castings and composted manure. I add molasses to it and keep the air pump with two line on all the time. Having just 4 plants, I make the tea in a 2 gallon pail using city water adding Prime chlorine remover and let it sit over night. Then add one cup of EWC and one cup of composted manure to a panty hose or paint strainer. Let it sit for at least 24 hours. I then add one cup of red plastic 18 oz cup full of tea to 4 of the of cups of water in gallon milk jug. To this I add one teaspoon of Neptune Harvest kelp liquid, 15 ml. of fumic liquid and teaspoon of powered humic to the jug. The humic and fulmic is one a week. The other two feedings are minus the fulmic and humic. Feed one glass of the tea mix every other day. The days with no humic or fulmic, I add a half a teaspoon of molasses to the jug. Plants are thriving. Used wood ash also which is high in K. But very little of this is better than a lot. Gave too much to one plant by accident and while buds are very happy, the fan leaves have turned a rust color. Cheaper by a lot than grow store bottles. Using Pro-Mix with the mycorrhiza in it. And LED lighting.
